Sajid Bhai is a man of many identities. He is now serving as a Board Member of ICANN. Having worked in banking for 20+ years, Sajid bhai was the Country Head of Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) in Nigeria and Indonesia 🚀 He has invested in 1,500+ startups and early-stages companies.
We focused on Sajid Bhai's journey from the University of Dhaka to building a global reputation for himself, the story of investing in 1500 startups including Pathao, 10 Minute School, Chaldal, ShopUp, starting the first wind power plant in Bangladesh and plenty of other things in this episode 🔥

Ow, it’s great pleasure to see higher educated entrepreneurs being interviewed. Back in 2010 or early 2013, these words " angel investors, venture capitalist " weren’t as familiar as the present time, implying our Startup eco system is changing rapidly and also signifying the entrepreneurship in the knowledge economy. The discussion should also include the angle that explains the current market environment. Startup scene has become vibrant in the slosh of liquidity. Many LPs are walking a tightrope now. Investors like CDPQ, PIF, QIA, Blackstone and many behemoths in the private asset markets lost billions in the VC and PE space. How is the navigation going in that context? The world is moving out from easy time phenomena. Many private investments are marked down dreadfully. It is going to be a challenging time for startup.
