I faced the exact fleet defense last round gac.. I ran levi vs executor PO Negotiator vs profundity Chimaera vs levi. It was only a 6 star PO but it was brutal..

Also, not sure if this is a bug, but whenever I mirror match Executor in fleet Arena, if either me or my opponent has XB in our starting Lineup, or even both, the defending Punishing One will always start under stealth, while your Punishing One will not be under stealth, and Breached instead...

When game loads in it does enemy uniques first, so his triggers, then you try to stealth which causes him to dispel it and breach

@@Akial2935 In that situation, if I don't bring XB, then I should be under stealth normally... As then it'll start with opponent XB stealth, My P1 steals it, opponent's P1 steals it, my P1 steals it back...

Speed has nothing to do with it because one person has more and another is tied with me... And cg is just ignoring anything p1 related after their update post

pretty sure Hounds Tooth in the starting Lineup with the Punishing One will reduce the counters a little to mid because if they keep targeting the P1, then Hounds Tooth will start Taunting

Early tests would suggest Finalizer has a better chance of winning if HT is starting. Sort of like before. Some Exec lineups are better vs some and worse vs others.

I faced that and used finalizer, and pretty easily (especially as a first try) got out HT, P1, XB, and Slave 1. If my silencer had survived one hit, would have been a win. Definitely possible for finalizer to pick it apart

Another thing: it seems like p1 unique also gets activated when the ship is in reinforcements but not reinforced yet. Fought a regular exec with finalizer (it had p1 in reinforcements which I couldn‘t see). Usually a r7 hux will always outrun a r9 piett for the first reinforcement but here they called in boba before I could call sftf. So it seems p1 already gave the speed buff to exec even though it shouldn’t

Executrix works better than it did historically here because at least one TIE Fighter is basically guaranteed to die. That didn’t always happen previously and Scythe was a self limiting addition to the fleet.

Hi Ahnaldt! the decision of who to reinforce with, is about whether or not you have some ship with "breach"(in that case, boba always join the party), thats why when you get plo, they call HT, or any other ship.

Thanks! Honestly, not much has really changed with fleets since I did an updated list. Only change would be Executor is better than Profundity but that is it. We did not get enough ship changes to warrant a new video. Not sure if there would be interest in it.

The anti stealth mechanic on P1 is overall pretty confusing. I've tested multiple different lineups of Executor+P1 vs Executor+P1 and my own P1 never started out under stealth while my opponents P1 always did. It didn't matter if my opponent had XB in the starting lineup, I had XB in the starting lineup or even if all my ships (inculing reinforcement) where only bounty hunters. It kinda feels like someone just theorycrafted the kit for P1 and released it to live servers without ever actually testing it ingame.

Negotiator counter against Executor-P1 is helpful for players who don't have Scythe ready to counter. Bravo Ahnald. But ngl those battles are quite pyrrhic...😮

Do you think the a 7star Punishing one with the Hounds Tooth in the starting line up will be more Deadly then the Triple Attacker line up The Triple Attacker Line up seems to have a more open window of viability from more fleets compared to the Hounds Tooth in the starting line up Yes the contract is a little slower but with all the cleansing and passing taunt over to Hounds Tooth shuts down most of these counters. The only one that is consistent is pulling the Levi Fleet and saving the MK6 Interceptor (2nd Reinforcement)for the Insta kills on a ship and Ship take over Everyone is Posting Videos about the Triple attackers but no one is posting about the Hounds Tooth in the Start. LLTKE and the content is always a Banger Fiddy

Pros/Cons with both. Right now the consensus is triple attacker is best. Could change as this sits in the wild more. Generally, Hound's Tooth felt weaker in the starting lineup because Finalizer has an easier time. Again, limited testing so far.

Best I can tell you is go into fleet arena and try for yourself! Tarkin's relic is not the most important to relic but it is a better fleet to relic up Tarkin.

I tried this and they went after Marauder instead of Rex and the counter fell apart. It was a 4 star P1 and my BB are G12 so there is a point the strategy doesn’t work.

I'd personally argue that Holdo may be a better 3rd defense fleet over Profundity Profundity loses too easily to malevolence Holdo on the other hand: Malevolence is the main counter, but it can very easily go wrong and you get bad banners if you win Outside of that your other counters are the GLs, empire, and negotiator (same as profun) TLDR: Malevolence struggles more with Holdo than profun. Creating more of a chance to hold and you would get a GL fleet on offense without any nerf to your defense

I didn't know about the finalizer thing since I haven't seen anything about it, but as far as .gg data shows it's not the most consistent either (30-50% win rates with a few exceptions), so that's like saying finalizer is good against malevolence (another risky battle) Also profun on offense is great for banners since you can undersize most mid level fleets some people put on defense

Very nice counters. Could you also make a video on how to counter the Hounds Tooth, Razor Crest, Punishing One starting lineup. I know most people are still using the triple attacker lineup on defence, but it seems that without the tank in the starting lineup it’s making the executor more vulnerable to these off meta counters. Maybe the triple attacker lineup is still the best starting defensive lineup, maybe it isn’t, but I would be interested in seeing how Hounds Tooth in the starting lineup affects these types of counters. Most videos I have seen so far are how to counter the triple attacker lineup.

⁠@@cuttlefish6839 Have we seen finalizer vs executor with a 7-star punishing one, hounds tooth starting? A 7-star on punishing one may make it able to survive the opening hits to force the taunt on Hounds Tooth and/or be able to outrun Kylo Ren’s command shuttle so that the Tie Silencer can’t get its second big hit off and kill it before the taunt goes up. This is good information for the long term as most all players with executor will have a 7-star punishing one in a couple of months anyways.

Try out some other ships like 5s. It could be dependent on relic levels. Rex is not mandatory but just some ship to take the heat. Even if they go for Marauder you'll be fine.

The Punishing One is custom made to break my fleet arena strategy, I've been doing well against Executor teams with Defender. But Punishing One kills that strategy dead. I also spent crystals 3 times to buy Punishing One shards ...... I got 5 every time. CG hates me.
