I was so impressed after tying my first Sex Dungeon", perfect I thought to myself! Then I watched a true master of the spun deer hair head and was completely humbled. Oh well. LOL But I did learn a lot by watching this video multiple times! Amazing!

I think counter wrapping with wire to lock the hackle or schlappen down might be a better technique just for the added durability but this way does speed things up quite a bit

I think the head on the Dungeon has a bit of a dome shape to it and not a minnow shape here. Probably fishes fine though. Nice tying!

These are the only flies I feel comfortable paying $10 a peice for as a fellow fly Tyer I can tell you these are not easy at all probably some of the hardest flies you can tie

I tie 100's of Kelly Gallup's streamers and these are not hard to tie .They are complex but not difficult . My question is " why do you space your beads so far apart ? Even Gunner Brammer's streamers (articulated) his beads are closer (not up tight) than yours.I'm curious as to why yours are so loose. Your trailing hook may fowl up ! Thanx for the pattern though.CHEERS!
