the 1st time im guessing not the 2nd...... not sure why youtubers came up with this idea of doing a little high light at the start of a video. i mean everyone does it so shes just following the trend but its like a joke in a movie trailer. not as funny when you see it in the actual show or movie since the trailer already spoiled the moment.

When we first see Baylan Skoll on Seatos the sounds we hear are the call of a Purgill moving in the clouds. Apparently if you zoom in on the bright patch of sky and adjust brightness you can see the shape of a Purgills body moving across the sky. And FYI the names Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati are derived from Norse mythology where two wolves named Skoll and Hati constantly chase the Sun and the Moon attempting to eat them.

When Ahsoka said to Sabine "You've done enough" it wasn't to protect her or that she had done her part and it was enough; she was throwing major shade insinuating that Sabine had run off with the map against her express wishes and had now allowed it to be stolen and placed in the hands of the enemy. So now Ahsoka is saying Sabine should just stay back so she doesn't fuck up anything else.
@sakisaotome6753
@sakisaotome6753 Жыл бұрын
I dont think thats actually how she meant it. her tone of voice doesn't match that interpretation at all. when sabine tells here that there were two but that she took one out, she knows how resilliant they are and as she explained later, she suspected it would wait around at her place. As she begins heading out she reaches over and taps her leg and says to get some rest. then she says no you've done enough but there isn't any anger or even a hint of a negative emotion in her voice here. then after getting the head she comes right back to sabine. after sabine finds out where they are and sabine says that she want to join, she tells her "no, you need to recover." if anything she sounds potentially upset this time where as before she hadn't. adn its pretty obvious, because sabine already got hurt and she's trying to go on another mission before she's ready. she doesn't want her to get hurt. it seems ahsoka is doing a great job of masking that despite all her talk about how bad attachments are, she herself can't avoid them. she has attachments toward Sabine. We saw this clearly in ep 4 where she actually taps into the dark side to hurt shin when she thinks that Shin had killed Sabine.

Marrok is a Sith Inquisitor, with blood red lightsaber blades, Shin Hati, Baylan Skoll's apprentice, wields an orange and/or burning red lightsaber blade. Hers and Baylan are Dark Jedi/Fallen Jedi and their lightsaber colors are apparently called "Righteous Fury" 🤔, which is what Dagan Gera in Jedi Survivor bleeds his yellow lightsaber into once he starts seething about the Jedi Order having "abandoned and betrayed him" 😓.

Third guy is Marrok, clearly an Inquisitor but no idea why we're not given his Inquisitor number. Possibly those no longer matter. "Marrok" might be a pseudonym, we'll see. The name comes from Arthurian legend: Sir Marrok was a night enchanted into a wolf by the sorceress Morgan Le Fey (and we have a witch Morgan. ) The last names of Baylan and Shin also reference mythological wolves. Skoll & Hati were wolves who chased the sun and moon respectively in Scandinavian tales. It's Dave Filoni showing his love for wolves again, and I for one and happy to see it.

As I understand it - in the Star Wars reality - hyperspace travel outside the home Galaxy is very limited and almost completely uncharted. Travel to another galaxy would require a charted route which the ancient map provides - but even then it requires a super powerful ship to sustain light speed travel for the extended time required to reach even the closest nearby galaxy. Thrawn was dragged there by Purgills against his will - and would likely be trapped there with no way back. Comparing to our own Milky Way galaxy the journey to our closest neighbour galaxy (Andromeda) is 25 times further than the longest journey inside our galaxy (the full diameter - edge to edge). So you would need a vessel capable of travelling around 25 times the longest journey anyone had ever made.

Hey, Emme! Another solid episode. We get a live-action Chopper! PETER JACOBSON, the shipyard manager, is a veteran character actor from many shows including "The Lost Room", "House", "The Americans", "Colony", "Ray Donovan" and "Fear the Walking Dead". I don't think he had any Imperial inclinations and was just as surprised as Ahsoka and Hera that so many loyalists were operating right under his nose. The introduction of this new galaxy and its inhabitants creates many possibilities most especially paving the way for the YUUZHAN VONG INVASION! That massive hyperdrive ring is to provide the propulsion necessary for extragalactic travel which far outdistances intragalactic travel! Interesting that Baylan admires Ahsoka and would rather spare her if he could. He still identifies with the Jedi. Great Marrok-Ahsoka duel! Love her sidestep. I want to know who he is! The last scene on Lothal matches the epilogue of "Rebels" very closely minus Ahsoka's staff. That means these two episodes took place after "Mandalorian" Season 2 but before the "Rebels" epilogue. The rest of this show predates "Book of Boba Fett" since it occurs two years after "Mandalorian" Season 2 which presents the opportunity to show Ahsoka's first meeting with Luke during the course of this show!

Incase you are unaware, leaving the galaxy is a huge deal in Star Wars, or at least it was before Disney de-cannonized allot of stuff, this is the first time inter-galactic travel has been mentioned in the new cannon to my knowledge, in fact the word universe is only used a handful of times throughout the cannon, people mostly just say galaxy. Anyway they haven't even fully explored the outer edge of their own galaxy, and to travel to another is so difficult that no-one is really trying to do it, but now we have this inter-galactic map and Thrawn in another galaxy, and its implied that the galaxy he is in isn't even the closest neighbour, it's all very interesting and mysterious... and a little terrifying.

The "Eye of Sion" may refer to Darth Sion from the game Knights of the Old Republic II. Sion was a Dark Jedi killed on Malachor V at the end of the Jedi Civil War, but used the Force to harness his pain and anger to hold his body together even as it decomposed. They keep hinting at bringing the KOTOR games into cannon, and I am all for it.

Ahsoka toe shoes are likely inspired by Japanese footwear. One of the major inspirations for the Jedi is samurai. Star Wars is a combination of a western and a samurai movie set in space. Tabi sock had a separate big toe from the rest, not each toe separate like in many modern western toe shoes. They were used with Geta, a type of sandal that looks a lot like flip flops but wooden with two or three wooden teeth that keep you of the ground. The shoe variant is called Jika-tabi and if you look for images of them online you see exactly what Ashoka is wearing. I would not be surprised if it off a shelf Jika-tabi with a bit of leather added on the shin ankle that has the look of armor. So not a variant of a modern type of toe shoe but a nod back to what inspired Star Wars

He was also a character in the video games The Force Unleashed he was Starkiller who was Vaders dark side apprentice and hugely strong like so strong he pulled a star destroyer out of orbit with the force, they used his likeness and he did the voice so basically Starkiller is Sam Witwer. He was in the credits for this episode but we never saw him and there was no one in the credits except him that could be the Inquisitor guy.

Episode 1 was dedicated to Ray Stevenson, who plays Skoll, passed away in May. I was hoping that his character would return to the Jedi ways since, after Order 66 there are so few force users. And since Luke is basically the only real Jedi left, I was thinking that it would be cool if Skoll and Hati went back to Jediism, but knowing that Ray Stevenson is no longer with us, I don’t see how that could be written in. BTW, I know you are a Punisher fan, Stevenson also played The Punisher in my he low budget Punisher War Zone. It was pretty bad but I still watched it about 5 times. 😂

What does that have to do with theorizing anyway? You could follow that exactly in all series so far and I didn't theorize but just asked if anyone else noticed that. ;-)

Anakin's descent into darkness was well portrayed. Because some Jedi never completely loved him, didn't respect him, didn't trust him, didn't take him seriously and even despised him. As a child before Obi-Wan started teaching him, he was hated and psychologically bullied by other children "Anakin is a slave to his feelings" and that was only because of envy because he was much more gifted and skilled than them. . . .And many other things and sufferings he and his padawan, Ashoka Tano, the Jedi like to cause. Yoda during the Clone Wars, he met the spirit of Darth Bane in Sitt's tomb, which is created by the rule of two. And later in his visions he saw Anakin becoming Darth Vader and didn't do anything about it because I thought it wasn't worth it. Anakin was a slave all his life - Tatuine, Jedi, Love, Dark Side. He became a father figure to Qui-gon Jinn, during his stay in the temple he was psychologically bullied and called by others "Anakin slaves to his own feelings", he lost his mother, the Jedi never married him all the time and without proper evidence he accused Ashoka and caused her to leave and finally he was afraid of losing Padmé. The only and worst support given the events was Palpatine who was a fatherly substitute for Anakin from the beginning. When he used Mace Windu's hand and after killing the Jedi he was already in the dark as the dark side itself showed him to the planet Mortis The One Son. On Mustafar, Padme almost got him from the dark side, but Obi-Wan discovered him and screwed it up. Anakin "Vader" built his castle on Mustafar and thanks to the two sbosobs he tried to revive Padmé but he could not see it due to the fact that Luke and Leya were already born, they were the only ones preventing it with their existence. Too bad he didn't find "Word between Wolrds" on the planet Lothal. He would create an alternate Reality or go through all of history. ;) . . . You have to find out about the lost 20 Jedi like Count Dooku, about the fates of Jedi with the ability to see the future, young apprentices who were not taken by any Jedi masters to learn, who showed little talent for the force and were not shown to the temple which in some cases was quite drastic, . .. Blinded by ego, aronance, pride, absolute help to people and not following the path of forces. Honor to the exceptions and one of the true Jedi was Master Fey. The Jedi and the Fallen Jedi (Sith) have betrayed the memory and message of their common ancestors of the Je'daii Order by their actions and the endless battles of their Civil War. 😊 May the force be with you. And may you lead the force. 🖐️

I find I believe more in the Grey Jedi Code. It aligns with something Sirius Black from the Harry Potter series said that rings true "We’ve all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on...that’s who we really are.” The goal isn't to banish the darkness but learn to live with it and still choose the right path which at times requires bending the rules. The battle is then where is the line drawn? When do the ends justify not so ethical means? This has plagued philosophers for thousands of years and what I find really intriguing.

@@ronweber1402 Bill Burr had some great lines in The Mandalorian Chapter 15 : The Believer.... "It seems like your lines start to blur when things get ugly." and "If you can sleep at night, you're doing better than most." I mean, he's not wrong. And everyone is like this. We all have the lines we won't cross, until something happens when we HAVE to. Then, it all gets kinda muddy. "Do the ends justify the means?" I guess it depends on the situation. Would it be ethical to murder Adolf Hitler as a child, before he does what he does? Knowing what we know NOW, that can be up for debate. Knowing only what was known when he was a child? Not likely. But also, with the example of what he did, we can at least attempt to be sure it never happens again. Without that example, perhaps someone else would have done even worse. I hope we never know.

SW Jedi worst things they ever do part 1 Lying to Luke Luke Skywalker loses his hand in Empire Strikes Back. This is more the fault of George Lucas’ poor planning than anything else, but in-universe, it’s all on Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda. Both had ample opportunity to let Luke know that Darth Vader was his father and Leia was his sister. Instead, they left him ignorant, without the potential support of a Force-sensitive Leia and giving up the psychological edge to Vader, who knew the truth behind Luke’s paternity. Nobody would have been surprised if Luke had switched sides right then and there-at least Vader never lied to him. The purpose of lying to Luke was never revealed. Were they afraid that the truth would instantly turn him heel? Wasn’t it the fact that the Jedi never wanted to deal with Anakin’s dangerous potential that got them into trouble in the first place? Considering that Obi-Wan and Yoda had all this information, they could have at the very least told Luke early-on that he shouldn’t try Lannistering his own sister. Obi-Wan turns a bar fight into attempted murder Star Wars Mos Eisley bar fight Obi-Wan Kenobia This one hurts. Obi-Wan Kenobi is a favorite of ours-and, hey, look, at this point, he was a crotchety old man who was forced to traverse the desert with a whiny, Leif Garrett-resembling teenager and his weirdo droids, so he was understandably in a lousy mood. Luke can’t even have a drink of whatever that was (laundry detergent? Kool Aid?) in a bar without two people trying to take his lunch money from him. You know the rest: Ponda Baba and Cornelius Evazan threaten Luke until Obi-Wan “Iron Chef” Kenobi slices and dices Baba’s arm. Mind you, we’d just seen Obi-Wan, not ten minutes before, use a Jedi mind trick to keep a Stormtrooper from arresting them. Couldn't he just do it again? You can’t even really give the excuse about time or urgency. Neither of these guys were armed from what we could see, and all they were doing was pushing Luke around. And look at him. At that point, wouldn’t you want to as well?

Is the Galactic Empire better than the Galactic Republic? It depends on one's point of view. The Galactic Empire as depicted in the Star Wars series was a totalitarian regime that ruled with an iron fist, while the Galactic Republic was a more democratic government. It turns out that both have their flaws and strengths. From a moral point of view, it could be argued that the Galactic Republic is a better system of government, but the military strength and effectiveness of the Empire in maintaining control over its territories may be seen as an advantage by some. Ultimately, it's a matter of personal opinion. But the main reason for the Empire is to be prepared for much worse threats from unexplored areas. ---- Crosshair once said, "Republic / Empire, what a difference." You know what he means, Andor Show show us. No one is good or bad. More than most people are Gray, just like in real life. We also saw how "good" Rebel Alliances are. You know, even Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Legends is better than Ghost Squad, and I'm still with the fact that in Seaqual they remade Luke as a character out of all the Egoistic,... Jedi like Mace who dug their own graves.

Star Wars: 15 Worst Things The Jedi Ever Did Even the good guys make mistakes. Major, major mistakes. You'd think the Force would warn the Jedi that these ridiculous acts were super dark side-y. Star Wars has the clearest demarcation of hero and villain, even more so than The Transformers with Autobots and Decepticons or GI Joe and Cobra. In Star Wars, it's the dark side and the light. Well, clearly, the guys that dress in black and admittedly even call themselves users of the “dark side of the Force” are probably not the good guys. But they are, in theory. Why they would actually agree to being called the villains is a flaw in the franchise (if not just bad PR on their part). SPOILER.. .. . . . . . . . . The Jedi themselves aren’t exactly saints, despite being portrayed that way. We're not saying that the Jedi are the true villains and the Sith are misunderstood, but there are times that they really, really needed to stand back and consider how awful some of their actions made them look. There are minor things like lying for no real reason, and then there are things like launching a coup d'état and covering up mass murders. With Luke teasing that the Jedi need to end in the upcoming and aptly titled The Last Jedi, let’s take a look at some of the reasons why Luke might have to close the book on the warrior-monks. These are the 15 Worst Things The Jedi Ever Did.

SW Jedi 15 worst things they ever do The Jedi Mind Trick Jedi Mind Trick Star Wars Speaking of the plot convenience mind trick, it’s another unsettling usage of the Force that Jedi love to employ. Nothing quite says “good guys” like bending people to your will. Admittedly, any Force-sensitive person could potentially brainwash people; both Jedi and Sith have used it extensively, but it doesn’t make it any less unsettling. Its capability goes beyond something as simple as an illusion to make a Stormtrooper wave you past a checkpoint. As we’ve seen in The Force Awakens and elsewhere, you can have someone essentially do your bidding and act almost perfectly normal during this. It’s a complete (if temporary) form of brainwashing that can easily lead to the exploitation of another. While the Jedi ostensibly believe that they're acting in the greater good, well, so did Anakin Skywalker. There’s a slippery slope when it comes to power, and the power over somebody’s mind and agency is too much for any one person to possess. Philosophical Book Burning Darth Maul Comic Jedi Padawan There shouldn’t be a thing as “forbidden knowledge.” Everyone desires freedom of thought, speech, and exploration. The Jedi... not so much. They deemed certain aspects of emotion-passion, love, and anger, along with its influences on the Force-to be too dangerous. The practices and corresponding information were entirely banned. The Jedi preferred to shun dangerous things like passion and emotion for something more austere and monk-like. There were two problems with that: once you say someone can’t have something, they’d want it even more, and, historically, many had found true balance in the Force by using pieces of both the Light and Dark side. Way back when the Jedi were called the Je’daii, both sides of the Force were used harmoniously. Correctly, the Je’daii eventually felt that too much emphasis on the Dark side was bad, but in their fear, they ending up banning all use and exploration of it. The Jedi created the Sith... Darth Nilhilus Well, this isn’t a proud moment in Jedi history. The Jedi made their own mess. All the abnegation and censorship led those frustrated with the emotionless, colorless life of a Jedi Master unfun. When others flocked to the Dark side, they went crazy with it because it was new and exciting. Passion is fine, but when everything else that comes along with it is just as unknown and mysterious, you’re going to end up overdoing it. And the Sith overdid it. The fallen Jedi-turned-Sith became power-hungry, evil megalomaniacs because they couldn’t handle the influx of “new” emotions and its corresponding Force manipulation. It was like becoming addicted to the good times. A crash was inevitable. When Dark side users went too far by killing people, creating empires and using their mind control powers to enforce slavery, the Jedi had to step in to clean up their own mess. ...Then committed a Sith holocaust And nothing says calm, passionless response quite like mass murder. In this ancient time, before the dark days, before the Empire, things were still pretty dark, actually. The Jedi and the Sith fought over Coruscant. Each side would erect a shrine that the other would destroy. After countless lost erections, the Sith gained but couldn’t hold the planet. The Liberation of Coruscant saw the Jedi take back the planet, though little else about the battle is known. Over the next year, infighting caused factions of the Sith to splinter, right in time for the heroes to swoop in and arrest these criminals and put them on trial hunt them to extinction. By the time of the prequel films, the Jedi Council was certain that between the infighting and their own genocidal actions, the Sith were completely eradicated, which isn’t a term you would normally use when describing the actions of peaceful zen monks. Of course, poetic justice does make the Sith being destroyed by the same moral rot from the Jedi and within their own ranks very funny, but you could understand their distaste at being massacred. Luminara Unduli doesn't care about her padawan Luminara Unduli in Star Wars The Clone Wars Luminara Unduli is a well-liked character in the fandom. She’s a powerful, loyal and capable Jedi. Like all important
