Double saber with a hilt only big enough for one hand is dumb. You cut off your own angles of attack for no benefit. Also hate the hand guard. You turn an omnidirectional blade and make it somewhat directional, trading versatility for minor hand protection, if it even works against lightsabers.

Two point. Number one, he literally uses two hands numerous times in this scene. Number two, that's not a hand guard and it's true purpose is also clearly displayed in this scene.
