Ahsoka Season 2 Just Got an Exciting Update!

If Dave Filoni and Disney really wanted to make a truly great Star Wars cinematic film series then he should make the last four seasons of the Clone Wars in live action. He already has the perfect actor to play a young Ahsoka in Ariana Greenblatt. He could get Ewan McGregor, Katie Sackoff, Hayden Christensen, Temeura Morrison, and Sam Whitworth could play Darth Maul.

I usually take it as a good sign that an artist is worth my support when they do occasionally take big risks and fail. Filoni has IMO had more successes than failures. His track record is solid, and I will gladly take a chance on any of his work, and that includes his work as CCO at Lucasfilm.

1 or 2 watched the Acolyte in a home. Probably 4 in a household watched Skeleton Crew. The ratings are a bit skewed. My kids didn’t watch Acolyte, but they watched every episode of skeleton crew. We just did it as a family.

I don’t think you’re old enough to remember when shows put out 30-35 shows a year (before 1970), even one-hour shows and not just half hour. It gradually whittled down to 26, then 22, then 20, then 13, then 10, and now 6 or 8. It’s sad.

It should be noted that nothing Disney owns made that top 10 list. They definitely need to find a way to cut their costs on these shows. Science Fiction has typically been quite expensive to make though because of the heavy reliance on special/practical effects, set design, locations, etc.

Despite Skeleton Crew’s poor ratings, I think Disney recognized that it was a backlash to the Acolyte, a show hated by most. Same thing happened to Solo because The Last Jedi was so bad. They’re willing to keep Skeleton Crew afloat because it was actually a good show.

I think Dave F is hell-bent on mystical blah with World Between Worlds stuff, etc… but the mission of George Lucas and the franchise is more about space-westerns, mob wars, and prevailing over evil. As for ratings… where other shows on other platforms have bang-numbers out of the gate, Star Wars is about long-term, generational viewership. Yes, KK has not helped add bang to poorly-developed WOKE-minded shows; which should cost her her position at Lucasfilm. Sending KK packing could help add some initial bang to movies and shows, that is sorely needed.

I don't mind that new animated series The Hidden Path series coming to Star Wars celebration 2025, Some fans like ventress, but I rather see Commander Cody and Rampart story arcs, I think The Hidden Path is take place afrer The Bad Batch season 1, Quinlan vos is really cool story, The Hidden Path can fixed Admiral Rampart's character for something good reason. The Clone Rebellion can be uses in Tales of the Clones

Wow. That’s a lot of content. I don’t know if you remember, but I was very heavy on giving the Acolyte a chance from the offset, all the way up to the 5th episode. I really enjoyed Leslie’s other creative ideas, but in the end the series took its toll on me. I also agree about Filoni, while I am his biggest supporter, to me he’s the only one. aside from Jon, who’s trying to right the ship. He is the only one that actually worked on planning, drawings, and even developed the animation for George when he felt he couldn’t add everything to his movies. I know many dislike the animation aspect of Starwars. Many in my age group just didn’t want to waste time with that stuff. But the inner child in some of us, that still believes on George’s ideology because it was all from his creativeness, and Filoni was there. Will Filoni get it right 100% of the time? Absolutely not. He’s not George Lucas, but he’s the only one that has creatively worked alongside the man himself. To be honest, I love the direction it’s going right now with Mando, Boba, Ashoka, the Ghost crew, Luke, and maybe Leah, and others, the timeline is perfect. Besides, I need more chopper in my life. 🤣😂
