The simple fact that she has unanimously earned our respect as a character for her incredible writing and story arc, proves the value she gave to not only the clone wars show, but Star Wars as a saga. I can’t imagine the clone wars without her in it. Awesome character, and an inspiration to all of us. Dave Filoni, Ashley Eckstein, and of course George Lucas, are absolute legends.

Balázs Illyés Dude Ahsoka fucked up like every mission she was in at the start of the war. She got an entire squadron of pilots killed, she disobeyed orders when she was about to be overrun by droids, she fought Greivous by herself, letting her whole team of clones die, then as soon as she finally gains respect from the jedi, she gets framed for a terrorist attack and almost executed. To say she’s never made a mistake is the dumbest possible thing you could type. By the way, she’s not showing the jedi are “evil”, she shows how corrupt the war has made them, which we already knew without her because the jedi themselves admit it all the time, including Anakin. Ahsoka is basically just the best of both worlds between Anakin and Obi-wan, so if you hate her then you hate them too. Get your shit together you spastic.

@@cogs8465 I wrote this "I liked Ahsoka before" And I mean it. I became an Ashoka-hater in Clone Wars season five. That bomb attack, and the jedi drop her out of the Order... Was clumsy. Remember in the Attack of the Clones, Windu refused the idea that Dooku was behind the attack on Padme., because he was a formel jedi. Despit ethefact Dooku lef the Order Windu prteted him. In the Revenge if the Sith, Windu and his partner didn't care about the laws of the Galactic Republic, and they attacked Palpatine, because they wanted to save the Jedi Order and the Republic from the Sith. So this "push out Ashoka " was the dumbest thing what Filoni could do...It was "needed" so Filoni could start this "All the jedi are bad, but Ahsoka is good" story. It's interesting to critic the jedi, but Filoni made it clear the critism is never about Ahsoka. She exceptional for some reson, because "the jedi are bad, but Ahsoka is good" I have to admit I always hated this conception. And in season seven, Ahsoka said that the jedi shouldn't lead clone armies in the war. And what Ahsoka does after that? She leads a clone army into battle. It was like a joke. What's the difference on what Ahsoka did on Mandalor and what Windu did on Ryloth? Remember Windu suggested to ask help from Syndulla . The senators worried about it, but Windu stand up for it, because he didn't cared about politics, but the people. What's that "great difference" what made Yoda, Windu so bad, and made Ahsoka so good? Nothing. And then Obi-Wan and Anakin went to save the Chancellor, Ahsoka said they shouldn't. Ahsoka was really irritating then. Ahsoka suggested that Obi-Wan doesn't want stop Maul, his nemezis, the one who killed his master and his love. Remember Obi-Wan's feelings for Princes Satine? Ahsoka tried to make us believe that Obi-Wan doesn' t want to free the planet of his love from Maul. That was just awful. You know just what I wrote beofire: They made into Ahsoka from an interesting likable character into this " Ahsoka never wrong, she is perfect " Filoni started in season five this "the jedi are bad, Ahsoka is good " story. And this just ruined Ahsoka. I am sorry if my anwser was a little long, I wanted to explain the problems.

@@balazsillyes7639 I love Ahsoka but you do bring up good points. It's not the character's fault for what the writing is. She still is a good character, whether or not her situation is forced. Windu never liked Anakin, and Ahsoka, being trained by him, was very similar to Anakin- sometimes reckless and impulsive, and is comfortable with going against the Order and the Republic for the interests of an unimpressive number of people. Even Windu rarely, if ever, goes against the Order. He doesn't like Anakin, and he doesn't like Ahsoka much more than Anakin. Not to mention every shred of evidence connected to the case suggested Ahsoka was the one who did it. Windu, unlike characters who knew Ahsoka more, just didn't have anything else to suggest that she is innocent. Windu did, however, know Dooku. Ahsoka is meant to point out the fact that the Order has become a politic centric order. They could be helping way more people on Mandalore, and the chancellor could be replaced. That's what she means to point out- the Order should care about the Chancellor, but not more than hundreds of thousands of citizens down on Mandalore.

Her incredible writing hasn't earn my respect. Her character developement is an illusion. She does not only represent Filoni's Clone Wars, she IS TCW. They had 6 seasons to make her character strong and real. This character had so much potential and it was wasted. I might exactly contradict the popular opinion, but try to look a bit into storytelling and you'll see what I mean. It doesn't matter though because 95% of TCW fandom is content.

I think the reason why Asoka seems to be such a skilled duelist in TCW has a lot to do with both the fact she was trained by one of the best duelists in the Jedi order, but also because a lot of her opponents underestimate her because of her age and size. Thoughts?

Ashoka with her double light saber is a formidable weapon especially it is handled backhand and forehand like Zatoichi the blind swordsman and massage man. One is a swipe. swing or blow inwards for close contact that would slash or cut the abdomen in halfand the other is a powerful blow downwards such that even Darth Maul with his double end light saber will find difficult to parry. Still Ashoka has no power in her arms because she uses both light saber to block blows. But overall she is the only Padawan that clashed with Ventress, General Grevious, Darth Maul, the Inquisitors and singed Darth Vader face Mask and lived to tell the story. Two or three of her Twilek MASTERS did not survive the purge.
