On Nov. 5, 2024, Marissa Laderach, SCAG principal regional planner and the director of the Southern California Clean Cities Coalition, led the second listening session of a project focused on intelligent transportation systems and artificial intelligence in transportation projects. Blake Lane from the University of California, Irvine, also presented a project summary, including timeline, goals, and objectives, during the session.

The conversation ended with a discussion on the vision for the future, seeking input on priority areas and potential pilot cities, and feedback from transit operators on their use of intelligent transportation systems and other technologies.
