The AI app is actually very nice. I have both AI lights and wavemakers, the UI and features are super useful.

I have freshwater tanks only now. But still watch your videos lol, may get a saltwater tank some day. I do have the AI freshwater blade for a 40 gallon breeder, it is very bright...I only use it at about 20% capacity for my freshwater needs...I'm still figuring out how advanced settings beyond the regular schedule work on the app, I am using the AI app but as it is also compatible with Mobius, I wonder if one app is better than the other...the app is good but I feel they could make the user interface a bit more user friendly. I believe all AI blades meet IP66 waterproof standards and I am keeping this particular one under my glass lid and have no issues with condensation as it is built to be submerged for quite some time and can withstand powerful water jets as well. Overall I'm quite satisfied with the light, it is on the pricier side for my freshwater needs but the build quality does come with the price tag. I wonder at which capacity do you use it for corals?

That’s sounds promising. You should have a lot more humidity under your lid than in my application. I run them at about 70% at their very highest. If I were to use them oven my sps tank I would probably max them out

Great video, love your setup. I noticed you have an autofeeder on the small tank. Do the Vilefish actually eat pellets? What brand of autofeeder are you using? Thanks!

Yes they do! It was a long road to get them there haha. It’s an eheim. The only feeder I ever use

Great review! I also consider to buy the blades. What do you recommend for an AIO tank (90x50cm)? Total depht of 38CM without filter chamber. Mostly LPS corals. 2 grows Or 1 grow and 1 glow?

I’d definitely go for two grows if your thinking doing two. However, 2 grows and 1 glow is awesome if you can spring it.

Hey, great video content. Is that tank a 300, and what size are the blades ? I have a redsea 250. Would I need a 30-inch as 90cm long tank.

They are 76cm I believe. It’s a 300 so it’s going to be the same lengths as yours

They are 76cm ones. Aquariatech here in Sweden is their distributor and ships world wide :)

You don’t have a net/lid in general, or you just removed it for the video? I’d love to see how tankrest looks with the lid, as it looks like it might be very hard to access the tank. I’d love to go without net but my fish jump a lot

I have a custom lid on my big tank but not in this one. However, I have one coming from Toplids in a few weeks for the Nyos tank as well. As it’s rimless I would be to limited in terms of species to keep if I didn’t have one.

Yes I am. 4x Nero 3’s. For a return I’m using a vectra s2 :) Yeah, I love the look of the tank as well mate!

That should be a great addition. Historically I would have advices you to go with T5’s but these would be my go to these days

How about cleaning the tank? You need to remove them to give a proposta cleaning or general maintenance

Not really unless I really wanna do a deep clean. I have a long gravel vac so that’s generally not an issue
