I only used windows while I was at school, mac user at home, so I’ve never experienced clippy myself but have heard of it on KZbin. PAL 9000 I only heard of him recently in a vid talking about unused features in FNAF games and for some reason the thing PAL 9000 is based off of was in it. I don’t know why. That’s how I learned of it. Of course I know terminator, don’t know what the 249 bot is based off of and don’t know the last one. Edit: nevermind the last one is based on Agent smith from the matrix.

@@Green24152 It is also a Windows thing, yes, but not everyone uses Windows. Clippy is also well known as the paperclip maximizer that wants to tile the universe with paper clips. It's a well-known staple of AI philosophy.

Oh god not the maximizer AI clippy. please no. I swear I am going to start producing paper clips. Don't delete me!!! Tehom, not many people at all know about Clippy the maximizer. The number of people who use Windows and know Office's Clippy is WAYYYYY more than those who look into AI philosophy. In fact, I'm extremely surprised that someone even mentioned it here. Yudkowsky references are rare, but perhaps I haven't been around groups that care as much for the past while. It's definitely not a reference to the paperclip maximizer, though. The description even says "it was programmed to help you". ie, the office assistant.

You could’ve just played rook f7 at 29:19 and you would’ve been fine. If he went for the check after you play rook f7 then you can play king g3, and if he takes your bishop then you take his with the king and it’s still equal material

Chess GPT is rated as 249 which is technically lower than Martin but I think they are a bit higher than that. Still pretty bad but around maybe 600. We could have a Martin vs ChessGPT match as technically Martin would be the favorite lol

I beat AgentChess with the Black pieces on my first try :) The key is to launch a long-term attack on him, and for some reason AgentChess appears to really struggle with long-term thinking, so he will just allow you to carry out your attack like it's nothing and you will just win.

Why not play hxg6 at 10:00? If the opponent follows with hxg6, you win a Rook, and if fxg6, then Bxg6 (the Bishop cannot be captured due to, again, the discovered attack on the Rook).

12:28 I wanna get a second opinion on this from anyone higher rated than me(Im 800) I believe I saw a mating trap here, White plays Qe4 (Blacks next move wouldnt matter much) Bishop sacrifices by capturing the pawn on a6, if takes, Queen goes to a8, black queen blocks, White queens recaptures with mate defended by the rook.
