Good to see a new video from you! I've been using AI to title and keyword my images for the last 10-12months. It's been a complete game changer. I do it a bit different than what I think your app might offer, but I'd love to try the app at some point when you make it available. As for now, rather than allowing AI to analyze the image, I write a brief simple description of the image and make sure I throw in any major keywords. This leaves me a bit more control over the output as I can guide the AI. For example, I'd describe the image of your daughter with the watermelon as "Young girl child, eating watermelon slice, outdoors". AI gives me "Young girl enjoying watermelon treat outdoors" and keywords "Young girl, child, eating watermelon, outdoor activity, summertime joy, childhood happiness, fresh fruit, healthy snack, outdoor fun, leisure time, sunny day, picnic, carefree childhood, nature enjoyment, refreshing treat, summer refreshment, childhood innocence, outdoor relaxation, happy moment, childhood memory, outdoor play, watermelon slice, childhood adventure, summertime snack, joyful expression, outdoor happiness, carefree summer, nature's candy, childhood bliss". For AI images it's even easier. I make AI give me the prompt to generate the image, and at the same time I have AI give me the title and keywords for the image based on the prompt it just provided. I'd say this works about 95% without ever having to modify the keywords or title.

thanks! it always feels good to get a video out. I use to use the approach you are doing but since I have a little bit of programming knowledge I thought I'd automate the process. One thing I had to solve programmatically is the number of repeated words the AI sometimes output in the keywords; for example in the list of keywords you showed, the word childhood is repeated 6 times; some agencies might consider that keyword spamming; Shutterstock, when submitting content using the web interface will not allow you to submit if a word is repeated more than 3 times. in the app I allow for the specification of how many repetition of words is acceptable. I'd love for you to try the program once released, I think you'd like it.

@@rohaneh I do sometimes feel the need to edit the AI output for that very reason. At the same time, there is at least one agency I use (I can't remember which one, maybe Dreamstime?) that considers childhood, childhood memories, and child-hood distinct search terms. The alternate solution rather than directly editing the list is to remind AI not to give me too many repeats, but it seems to eventually "forget" the instruction. Looking forward to trying your program!

Interesting, but why didn't you simultaneously upload these images to Adobe, too? I think we have much better perspectives with Adobe than Shutterstock right now. Also can you share the prompt that your software sends to openai api to generate titles and keywords?

I didn't upload to adobe stock because I needed to know that the generated metadata were good; I don't care too much if I screw up and get banned for some reason on Shutterstock but I don't want my adobe stock account banned. Prompt sharing will be reserved for Patreon 😁

@@rohaneh fair enough :) I don't think you can get banned on adobe for ai generated titles/keywords unless they are completely irrelevant to the uploaded images but I guess you still double-check these metadata before uploading so you shouldn't have any worries about that
