Some people will exploit Ai to better their lot in life and some wont. but overall, due to the "Invisible hand" all of humanity will be uplifted by the tool whether they cared about it or not - its like electricity or the engine or other "general purpose technologies". they benefit us all. P.S. there is nothing wrong with trying to figure out how to leverage Ai to make more money. having the financial resources to stand on ones' own 2 feet, not be a burden to society, not work for others and provide for yourself and your family is an amazing thing. We should tell everyone to do that instead of the inverse. Thank God.

All these people with $$ in their eyes thinking people are going to pay them for A.I. art that anyone can easily generate themselves need a reality check. No one is going to care what you create. You'll be creating for an audience of one...yourself.

A great question to ask would have been, "What is the route that a complete newbie should follow to get into AI?" I'm trying to get into AI but don't know where to start, if I should learn to code, what is the best course, do an online course about AI understanding infrastructure etc. It'll be great if any of you guys could give some guidance also

Learn to get started with Stable Diffusion via YT tutorials (and skip midjourney, bluewillow, etc). This will give you practice of deploying a generative AI model and using it for your purposes.

You don't need to learn anything with A.I. Eventually it will do the job for you and you won't be needed. Good luck.

@@badpuppy3 They also thought search engines would replace humans back in the day. Factories of anything were already replacing humans and automated before I was born. There's no reason to be this pessimistic, it's an opportunity to exploit AI

@@orvvro I don’t remember anyone thinking search engines were going to replace humans, and I was using Google before it was even a thing. I’m pessimistic not because of AI, but because what I’ve seen from human beings in the past decade since social media has brought out the worst in them.
