Thank you very much for the review of these different tools, Andy, which are indeed quite powerful assistants for everyone wanting (or needing) to do some kind of literature review. There is one aspect that you did not tap into, though. How can I know that the machine-produced summary of an individual article or a collection of literature is actually correct without having read these papers myself?

You can't. Review will be (and probably have already been) published based on AI hallucinations. The literature review (and peer review process) is based on a tremendous amount of trust - namely that the author(s) have engaged in good scholarship and the information provided is accurate; simply impossible if the entire document has been written for you by an unreliable LLM
