What will happen when everybody uses the same source/ assistant? …. Emotion and intuition are human traits, and roots of creativity . AI creativity is straight forward, strictly logical, accepts no edges, detours, u-turns. I.e. GPS : you can utilise it to reach destination fast lane …. but, as we all know by now from experience not always the best choice .. . We are discoverers by nature and everything new is fascinating and exciting. AI is a blessing and a threat we still have to learn to handle & manage it well and not submit to it .

yeah, it's going to be interesting to see how neural nets progress as artists in all mediums begin to fight for default opt-outs/consensual opt-ins and remuneration for being opted-in without their consent, because really the way to improve useability for any neural net is for people to be able to reference not just genres but specific artists...and genre dataset information for any neural net is ASSUREDLY built from artists within the genre, however they want to restrict prompting to conceal that lol

When you add in the speed of AI acceleration its kind of terrifying that this is pretty much the most primitive form and its already as complex as it is.

I think a really obvious use case is using AI generated background music that will never get caught by the KZbin audio filtering. Most people right now use video game ost's which are relatively reliable to not get demonetized but sometimes even OST's from games from creators that allow usage of their music can be taken down, for example, Toby Fox's Undertale. Considering how the biggest reason KZbinrs on the platform get demonetized is copyright, it might help them out to have background music that isn't on the system. Ironically, a precedent of making AI-generated content uncopyrightable might bolster the AI industry because of this.

Thats what I was thinking. Suno and services like it I feel like will be a godsend for creators who need full pop-type songs in their videos but don't wanna get demonetized.

@@NAETEMUSIC The most realistic outcome for AI-gen content is that it can replace most stock assets like music and footage, rather than professional musicians and videographers which are celebrated culturally. I don't think AI-generated content surpassing human-made content is a technological challenge but a cultural one, and that is something that won't change for at least a century.

@@ringkunmori The question is (and my friends and I were talking about this) when will AI music services create something that musicians really need, like for example i am DYING for an AI vocal editing/tuning software that automatically comps the best vocal takes from a singer and automatically applies natural human sounding pitch correction because that is BY FAR the most tedious part of mixing. And yet we just keep getting stuff like Suno which, again fun, is really not what MUSICIANS want or need from AI imo also agree with your statement about culture, I think people are just never gonna vibe with idolizing…… a machine at least for the foreseeable future)
