Great review! On the hunt for new wavemakers. On the fence for either a Mp40/ Nero7s - will look into the Hygger. Thanks!

You got the new style Hyggers! They did away with the annoying pegs and offset holes on the base. And i like the small amount of tilt you get now. I may have to pick up a couple new ones.

A separate topic - rock cement. Have you tried Marco vs. AquaForest vs. STIX?

Hi, which wave maker is the most effective for mixing nutrition? I'm asking because it's crucial to find the best way to blend fertilizer into water without increasing the pH value.

I have a 90 gallon tank which one should I go with for each brand? Thanks. and why does nero call theirs a powerhead is there a difference? I see on amazon the 2600 is more money than the 3400 for hygger, wonder why that is since the 3400 is rated for tanks 75-200 and the 2600 is only up to 50.

Hi can I ask a question I have a 30 gallon square tank. I will be adding corals, which wave maker would you recommend and would 1 be enough for my tank.
@TheCoralReefTalk Жыл бұрын
The Hygger is definitely the more affordable, and the one in the video is recommended 26g-55g so it would push plenty for 30g tank. There is a smaller Hygger thats recommended up to 25g. One may work, What are the tank dimensions?

I have a 75G softie tank. Is one enough?

Someone on another channel says this hygger would need more flow for a 75 gallon reef tank....I'm looking into a wave maker for my 75 gallon soft and LPS reef also ...but there is a stronger wave maker from hygger ...I don't know if it's to much flow though for a 75 gallon ....I hear its pretty strong though ..to strong..not sure though yet...I ordered it and should be getting it today...I can let u know ..

What would you recommend for a 16b gallon BNioCube?
@TheCoralReefTalk Жыл бұрын
Take a look at the smaller Hygger Wavemaker it's more affordable and will work great. Follow the link in the description.

Get the 1600 hygger wave. You can adjust the intensity also. I like that it also has a PULSE you can program. So not to overwhelm the cube

Hygger of Jebao? My NERO 5 failed after

I really enjoy the Hygger. My Nero 3 went out on me I need to see how to get that replaced or I may just get another Hygger back there.

Thanks. Have you tried Jebao?
@TheCoralReefTalk9 ай бұрын
@@leftandrightarewrong3957 I had a Jebao pump years ago. But I haven't tried any of their recent pumps. I like the build quality of the Hygger controller. Jebao SLW-20 looks pretty good as well. and it looks similar to the Nero's. Here is a Amazon link to it. amzn.to/3R9EqZu. (paid link)

I have 4 Hyggers and LOVE them. Super quiet and easy to use and see the operation right in the controller. I went with these for the lower price and a recommendation. I have two in my tank and always keep two clean and ready. Easy to just switch them out as I pull to clean them. Never had any problems. They come apart easy also to clean.

@@BH0t8498what size tank do you have ? I ordered 2 of the ( Model HG 042) for a 75 gallon reef soft and LPS coral tank....I'm wondering if it's gonna be way to much flow as it claims it's for a 75-200 gallon tank...I have them coming today ..
@BH0t84986 ай бұрын
I have my HYGGERS in a smaller 32 biocube. I use 2 and have two extras that I always keep clean and just swap them out. They are simple to unplug and replug once a month with little downtime. I have both the 2600 & 1600. You can adjust the intensity on both through the programming codes. If it’s the same programming you should be able to adjust them. I like that I can TURN UP the flow during a cleaning to stir up everything and then return to my basic settings afterwards. The wave makers are small enough you could use in a sump to stir up if needed as well@@milkspotscausemetospazzout6813
