I am hoping for portable small and powerful nuclear batteries that last 50 years without needing a recharge, affordable exoskeltons, and that 3d meal printer was interesting.. they already kind of do that with lab grown meat I believe lol

who are we kidding, in 100 years, people will be sitting in their rooms wearing VR goggles to “experience” the great outdoors while on some IV drip of ground up bugs for food😂

I think you've put the cart before the horse. Before you ask the AI what camping gear will look like 100 years from now, you might first want to ask it what it thinks the environment will look like 100 years from now. Gear is specific to the environment you expect to be in. I think this AI assumed there would be no change in the current environment. Nonetheless, quite a fun thought experiment. The self-regulating sleeping bag I think was my favorite.

@@theoutdoorempire since I made this comment on this video, I've spent two days looking for a big soft cooler. I finally settled on a brand I don't normally like to buy. Snowpeak makes a medium sized 38L, long-ways soft cooler.. it was $160 which is practically free for Snowpeak. This might solve a basic need for a lot of vehicles that have a backseat called a 60/40 split. We need long, like a regular shaped old cooler. Reviews to come on this snowpeak.
