Spain was fascist at the time. The Spanish Civil War had recently ended, leaving Francisco Franco and his fascist regime in charge. Interestingly enough, The Spanish Civil War was a testing ground for Hitler's strategies during WWII. Now, Spain is a constitutional monarchy, much like the UK or Sweden.

Watching this guy get every single sentence, every take wrong, every word wrong is astounding. It is truly amazing to watch how speeches and filters go through the mind of someone who already thinks they know what they are going to hear.

12:00. This Owen dude lies. When H says a million Germans were driven from their territory on the frontiers he refers to Germans that were forced to leave German territory that was given to France as a part of the treaty of Versailles. He’s not referring to military (and other) personnel retreating from occupied French territory as Owen suggests.
@adamredwine7743 ай бұрын
I think he's just mistaken. Owen seems still to be learning but he is open about his own knowledge and he should get some credit for that.

To clarify the WWI cause for war, Gavrilo Princip was a Serbian Separatist who was a member of the Black Hand, he murdered Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary and his wife Duchess Sophie of Hohenberg. The Black Hand had clear ties to the Serbian government, and so Austria-Hungary demanded to be involved in the investigation that was to take place in Serbia, the Serbians refused this, War broke out. When Belgrade was captured, conveniently all relevant government documents to the Assassination investigation were missing, totally not suspicious... there is also the fact that Serbia wanted war so they could form Yugoslavia... Yes Germany declared war on neutral countries, which is inexcusable, but the "rape of Belgium" was MASSIVELY inflated by the Entente for propaganda purposes, and while Germany were the first to use flamethrowers, they used them to clear bunkers, which wasn't (at the time) deemed to be in violation of the 1906 Geneva Convention or 1907 Hague convention. France were the first ones to use flamethrowers in an offensive capacity during trench raids, they were the first to use poison gas, and when Germany retaliated with crude barrels that they used to release the gas, France deployed sophisticated artillery shells with gas, they had planned on using them MONTHS before, 90% of the war crimes were first committed by France. Because the "Teargases" that France used were either as toxic, or twice as toxic as chlorine gas. In WWI the Central Powers were in fact no the aggressors, Serbia and France were.

This videos are really valuable and should not being seen as something tabu. The fact that the speech sounds like any speech or debate you could listen in many of our countries must be acknowledged. The speech itself must not blur the drivers that the german population of back then had in mind to took him to power and all the consequences it had.

A failing U.S. economy and elevated global tensions reduce the likelihood of prolonged inflation or higher long-term Treasury yields. I've seen folks amass up to $1m amid crisis, and even pull it off easily in a favorable economy. Unequivocally, the bubble/collapse is getting somebody somewhere rich

I was recently in a conversation with someone about Einstein. I'm not going to say who, they are genuinely curious about the world. They are Mormon, and being in an online community that consists of both believers and non-believers. they are worried about crossing the line into being offensive. I understand that completely. Anyhow, I mentioned that Einstein was a Jew. He said he thought that Einstein was German. So I clarified, Einstein was born in Germany and was a German citizen, but since he was Jewish by heritage, he had to flee the country. The guy I was talking to said that cleared up much he had been wondering about.

It's good that you explain the context of events people today don't have a clue about what'shappening in front of their eyes never mind yesteryear. In 1972 as a late teenager I lived with an east German who had and played Hitler speeches and was politically vocal about everything. That's when I realized I knew nothing about the world. After watching the famous interview between David Frost and Richard Nixon I got a great idea of geo-politics which I've been following ever since. Fascinating subject to keep up with. I believe Nixon got the dollar off the gold standard? Great channel. I'm subscribing.
