I was there today, I think it’s human controlled telepresence. The language was too fluid without any latency or lag, and in a noisy environment with lots of crosstalk. The robot was answering and talking immediately after someone would stop talking, I don’t think it was an autonomous robot. I could be wrong.

I don't know, I mean modern AI voice models sound better than this. I think it sounds pretty stilted considering what's already capable with that technology. And also the fact that Vegas spent 2 billion dollars on the Sphere, I'm sure the city is willing to invest money into emerging technology like this. There are even Lyft drivers who are letting the Teslas drive by themselves for godsakes lol. I could also be wrong, but I do encourage you to pay attention to new products, ads, and talk to locals about the new tech.

This thing isn't even performing as well as what is available to any person with a cell phone today. They'd be better off using AI if that's the case.

Robotics and AI human simuloids are just around the corner. We have yet to realize the full ramifications of the implementation of a new population.

Thanks for the insights. The rise of robotics and AI simuloids will have significant societal, economic, and ethical consequences, requiring careful consideration and proactive planning to address potential challenges and ensure positive outcomes. It’s crucial to approach this development with foresight and responsibility to navigate its impact responsibly.

They're not even around the corner, they're already here. People are using them every day. AI girlfriend apps and whatnot lol. Kinda scary but unfortunately the world isn't just gonna stop to let us process it all. The idea wheel just keeps on chugging

@@skyrowetravels6023 Sadly Humanity is not ready for such responsibility and will pay a terrible price if we survive at all this technological leap.

@@ericswain4177Incredibly negative and naive way of looking at things. An attitude like yours certainly isn't helpful to humanity in any way. AI could be a revolutionary technology that changes everybody's lives for the better if used properly. Stop fear mongering and present reality for what it is.

I visited The Sphere/Las Vegas about one month ago. *Watching people interacting with the AI Robot(s) was too creepy for me. *I couldn't help thinking of the movie: "I Robot". I found myself waiting if one of the AI Robots would go mad and kill someone. 💯😵💫

It's not it's real!! I was there and it is by far one of the most advanced robots I have ever seen. It even signaled me out of a crowd asking about my tattoo. Which was hidden somewhat as no dim-witted women would be able to respond that quickly. To something that wasn't even a focal point in realtime. There is a reason the robots are all seperated 100 feet from each other. So they don't interact with each other. I was a skeptical myself but even my wife which is an engineer was impressed. The responses were to fast to have anyone behind them. It was spooky to say the least here.

Amecas personality depends on her handlers. It is their humor and voice. I don't like this female handler .
