As I have said many times, in terms of the evolution of AI systems and others that require large amounts of research, we will evolve as much or more in 5 years than in the past 30 years. Today, machines "think" at an incredible speed, and without a doubt, we have entered a path of no return. We are in a new era, the era of Digital Neo-Renaissance

"Today, machines 'think' at an incredible speed.." - No, they don't. Machines don't think at all. The process as they're programmed to do. They do not do anything outside of their code. Machines do not have intelligence. They have lines of code (binary) that they must follow. There is not a thinking agent with machines. Machines are complete stupid. They're not even intelligent enough to be ignorant nor willfully ignorant. Every response you hear or see from a ChatGPT is 100% programmed. They're programmed to search through data, but they do not have intelligence. Intelligence is the ability to think for ones self. To learn, problem solve freely without input or guidance from another... To think "outside the box". Machines are and always will be Inside of a Box, programmed by a programmer. For A.I. to truly be able to do all that, it would have to become alive. That is 100% not possible. Bicentennial Man was a brilliant movie showcasing these subjects. It was extremely ahead of its time. So was Max Headroom.

Ha, ha, ha, that was my first, "How do you best reality?? Have any of these programmers been to the most beautiful places on the Earth, or in space??" I supposed if you're a really pessimistic person then everything can look ugly or horrible. That's not at all how I see life. So, I'm with you.
@biblebadcopycatofcuneiform82104 ай бұрын
@@twilightscarab You're too involved in technology rather than truly exploring real experiences. 4K isn't reality, it's a microscope, or magnifying glass. You may alter images and change their colors, contrast and brightness, gamma, but when you really, really explore the planet...you'll find colors and life are much deeper than you thought. Here's an example. When you relax your mind from all drama, and focus totally on the NOW for 15 minutes a day, you change your mind to actually see colors you don't normally see. Which are more vibrant than you normally see. No drugs, not any hallucinations, not any weed or alcohol..nothing. Pure focus and relaxation and stress removed - in nature. That's how you get the mind to see what animals see. I love, and adore technology, and I'm very aware of advancements, but I am well balanced with nature also.

Apple Intelligence is not only delayed in the European Union, Apple Intelligence Features Will Reportedly Be Delayed, in general. Some Might Only Arrive in 2025. Recent reports suggest that many of these features, especially those involving Siri, may not be ready for global release alongside the new operating systems later this year. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, some AI features are expected to be delayed until 2025. The first developer beta of the software has already confirmed the absence of several AI capabilities mentioned, aligning with Gurman's insights. Apple's strategy appears to prioritize shipping initial developer betas with as many features as possible, allowing developers ample time to integrate these new experiences into their apps.

Hi, re the section of the video that speaks to Humanoid Robotics, i wouldn’t underestimate Tesla’s Optimus robot which should see it’s first production roll out of 1,000 Humanoids by early to mid next year. These are high end commercial grade bots aim to solve workforce shortages across global industries. Elon believes that Tesla AI and Tesla Energy, (including solutions to address the future power needs of AGI models) will dwarf future growth projections that were previously limited to EV and some home energy solutions such as upgraded solar panels that actually look like real Spanish tiles, not the standard back mirror panels which I presume is a hindrance in itself for higher end homes).

It is enabling an explosion in the range of effective treatments for even the hardest mental disorders. We already have established technology to reach deep into the brain non-invasively to great results, so the treatments will advance as fast as the imaging does. Believe me, as someone with extremely treatment-resistant OCD who is exhausted from the effort, the shitty drugs and the snail's pace progress and even regression, I am very happy that this is happening. And yes, there are many dangers - but either we use this for good or someone will use it for bad.

I personally don't mind the long format videos, especially if they're properly tagged with chapters to find quickly what one's particularly interested about, but the real deal breaker for me was the amount of ads - literally an ad every 2 minutes. Another "Shocking" title coupled along with an artificially inflated information stretching for over 2 hours (I guess in order to stuff in as many ads as possible within those 2-hours) only means the author doesn't care about building a loyal audience, but rather targeting mostly new viewers. I think these practices act as deterrence to viewers who would rather look for the same information in other channels.

Journalists need to bring back the international membership standardized credentials where they focus on quality of news where they honor 3 first-hand confirmation or it's just not real new their name stands behind.. instead of being first drive up self dicipline,dignity, and pride in objective truth.. As a by-product, that also drives up more investigative journalism as they themselves embedded within gets a 1st hand direct testimony.
