Disagree strongly on the Figjam AI. Perhaps it will be great in the future, but right now I think it is terrible. I much rather use the templates, haven't gotten a single figjam AI be the way I want yet. Always have to redo so much I might as well have done it on my own in the first place. Great video though! :)

It gives me multilayered action steps on complete product discovery and shipping cycle with different flows, feedbacks, calendar etc. I have been prompt engineering for 3 years though

Its basic economics, if you can get AI to generate in seconds what someone used to charge a fortune to hand crank, then the skills are no longer required or worth anything, there may be legacy work going around for a while, but the value of it will decrease rapidly, I've been in the software industry for 35 years, seen lots of tech come and go, people try and cling onto the past, you should always be reinventing yourself, but tbh AI is nuts, wiping out whole skill sets over night.

The people who do not leverage AI in their work will be left behind. The ones who do leverage AI will be more efficient with their work, and in turn land more design opportunities. AI is great, but it’s not perfect. I believe it’s here to help us do our jobs, not take our jobs. Just a thought 😎

@isaaclongoria229 I see your point, but what I am trying to say is that fewer people will be required to do the same amount of work, which will lead to a reduction in staff and fewer job opportunities. AI can also lead to UX skills being less valued in terms of what employers are willing to pay their employees in salary. DO NOT underestimate the danger AI can bring, nor the speed of advancement. A lot of the talk about using AI as a leveraging tool is just rhetoric to buy time for replacing employees.
