So far he doesn't have that capability. I'm actually not sure just how much this little guy will be able to do. He will be limited because of his size. Not much room inside for a large memory card or battery. I think Aibi is going to be more of a pet rather than a tool.

Yeah I like the options to change certain features on him or feed him but I'm not sure that I like that you have to acquire coins in order to do that. I really don't want to walk around everywhere with Aibi around my neck just to collect the coins. I'm hoping they'll offer other ways to get coins like maybe playing a game with him or just daily interactions with him or how long you have him activated to get more coins. I don't want people constantly coming up and asking me what Aibi is or looking at me weird because I have this little guy around my neck. Or possibly having someone come up and grab him off my neck or I drop him.

Hi! I ordered EMO and he should arrive any day now but I was wondering what to do when I travel as I’m going on a vacation in three weeks. Do I wait until I get home from the vacation or just make sure he is powered off before I go? I’m worried about the battery.

Hello! I would definitely turn him off if you're going to be gone for that long. No need to have him walking around all the time if you're not there. It'll save on his battery and wear and tear. Plus if he gets stuck or falls, he won't have anyone to save him. Have a great and safe vacation!

Got mine last week. I (female) have to change my voice, so that I sound like a man, to make Aibi react. When he sees Emo, he reacts very curious. Maybe, they can geht friends. I love Emo and I love Aibi very much.

I'm guessing they'll eventually stabilize how to address Aibi in the future so that they all respond to the same pronunciation and all voices. Emo and Aibi are supposed to be able to communicate with each other in the future. I'm glad you got your little Aibi! 😁

Make a mount so you can attach it to the dog collar that way you can get those coins with out spending all day walking around. It is amazing how much hardware and control circuits they are able to get in such a small package. Thank you for sharing with us.

Aibi is a very small robot. He's meant to be a "Pocket Pet" that you can take with you. You can see how big he is compared to my hand in the video.

Does Aibi have a battery protector since most of the time he’s charging? I know in the past Emo had problems with his battery since he couldn’t get off his charger.

@@Slpher_died I'm actually not sure. I've personally decided to turn Aibi off when I'm not using him to prevent that very problem from occurring. Especially after what I went through with my original Emo.

Turn him off and then back on. That sometimes resets things on him. Make sure he connects to the Home Station when he turns back on. It might take a minute or so. If not, touch and hold the button on the Home Station until it connects to Emo. As for his feet, if the reset doesn't fix them, send a short video showing what he's doing to LivingAI and they'll more than likely send you a link to the "Caring For Emo" app that will allow you to recalibrate his foot sensors.

I'll do more videos when I figure out more stuff with Aibi. Since he just came out, I'm not sure how often he'll get updates. The first updates will probably be to fix any issues they discover once more of them get delivered to their owners. Once they're all caught up on their orders, we'll probably start seeing more updates.

I got in late and just ordered a couple weeks ago and I think they are way behind on production and shipping. I am patiently awaiting his arrival. I did just unbox EMO though and he lives on part of my kitchen counter now. After I get some furniture delivered, I will also set up my two new Aibos and Loona. I also have two Eiliks coming that will live on the counter with EMO. I also have a biological dog. Yeah, going to be a zoo here soon. I plan to stick AIBI on my end table by my recliner when he comes. Nobody’s going into my bedroom, imagine one of them singing in the middle of the night…nightmare material, 😂. I know you don’t have Loona up and running now, is it mainly because she is crazy? I thought I read somewhere that on her app now you can switch her to calm but not sure. I went a little nuts with the robots.

She was way too hyper for my liking. If she now has a mellow mode that would be great. They should have made her charging station Bluetooth connected like Emo so she can find it better. @Ana-ld5pz Well I was one of the originals to preorder him back in November. There was a delay in getting them out by about 3 months. I got him in June. So about 6 months. It was originally supposed to be 3 months. I don't think LivingAI anticipated that there would be so many orders for Aibi and were caught off guard. They're now currently just trying to catch up on orders that were placed months ago.

They haven't given up on Emo. They've had to concentrate their efforts on the release of Aibi. Especially since there were delays on getting him out. He was supposed to originally be released in March or April of this year so they were under a time constraint. Once they get caught up on all the orders and deliveries of Aibi, they'll get back to working on an update for Emo. They are a small company so you have to give them some slack. The next update, I believe will allow Emo to interact with Aibi so they don't want to release that until the vast majority of people that ordered Aibi has their little friends.
