We brought this mixer almost 2 years ago. I only make bread with it. I would say that I use it 2 times per week and haven’t had a problem.

On the basis of this review I bought an Aicok mixer a few months ago. I absolutely love it. I'm 91 and mostly cook for myself, but I make bread quite often, and this mixer does a great job. I use it for making ice cream as well. I make a lot of pies, and the meringues have never been lovelier. But my favorite use for the mixer is the bread dough, as kneading by hand becomes increasingly difficult. Thank you for a great review!

Great review! I bought the mixer 1 month ago without having seen a review but after a lot of research. I am very happy! I wanted a mixer that looks nice and is lightweight so it can be moved around. Also, the bowl is a Little bit smaller than with other mixers but not as tiny as with the small Kitchenaid. For a small family it does a great job for a very reasonable price. Sometimes you have to scrape the dough a bit but that’s ok considering the price. The only issue I have is that it does not work so well with only one or two eggs, or a small amount of cream. But I think that’s an issue with many mixers. I made all kinds of doughs already and am completely happy. It works wonders with sponge cakes, it is fine for any other type of dough. I also used it to blend a dumpling mixture. It is very versatile. The mixers is made of plastic, but that’s what I like about it since it is so lightweight yet sturdy. So, depending on what you want or need from a mixer, this Aicok one could be a perfect and sensible choice.

Ordered this yesterday. Thanks for such comprehensive reviews. Have been looking for an inexpensive, lightweight mixer for occasional baking for some time, and it looks like this will fit the bill nicely. Got it on Amazon and applied a 15% off coupon, for a total of $93.49. Can't wait to try it.

I bake a lot of bread so I want a mixer to mix larger batches of dough. I've watched your videos reviewing the more expensive mixers and often thought they were not kneading the dough, they were mostly just spinning it so I could never justify spending the money. I expected this to do a good job kneading the dough because of it's design with the double planetary action. The sweet spot would be to find a mixer that is a heavy-duty mixer with this design for kneading. I may get this just to try it since it's not expensive but will continue my search.

Gotta love the kneading results from the double-dough hooks. You certainly get a lot for your money, here, and at an advertised "59-point planetary mixing action", that compares with the performance on all the 5-Quart, Tilt Head KitchenAid Mixers. Thanks for testing this mixer.

Hi Amy, I just bought myself this same stand mixer and I saw on your video that it is very easy to use. I only buy it to cook basic desserts for myself and my husband. I was impressed by the dough hooks, seemed to knead the bread fairly quickly. Would I trade it for my kitchen aid no but in my RV or vacation home yes I would buy this!!!!

Thanks for this review, I ordered this mixer today as I am very intrigued by the double hook system to knead bread. I also liked the motor power of 500 watts, as most kitchenaid mixers are 250 watts. I hope 🤞🏼 this one will work fine, as the price is great!

Nice review, Amy, and I like that system with the double dough hooks. It seems to really knead the dough nicely. The only thing I don't like about some of these inexpensive mixers is that the whisk wires are often attached to plastic. I wish they would make it entirely of metal so it would be sturdier. This mixer kneads bread dough very well. However, I had trouble getting one of the hooks off. It seemed to be stuck! My husband had to get it off. It easily made two loaves of sourdough bread.

I have been curious about those double dough hooks since I first saw them on amazon.. it did a nice job, a little concerned over time with the head as it seemed to move alot but loved the sound of the motor etc.. nice machine, thank you for doing this and so glad they sent you this mixer! I bought this mixer after seeing this review. I have used twice so far. I liked it so much but the only thing is when i make pizza dough my tilt head of the mixer moved a lot. Is it normal ? BTW this is my first time using stand mixer.

No. It is a basic mixer and doesn't take any attachments.

Thanks for the video. It is very helpful. Have u ever tried the CUSIMAX 5-QUART 800 W stand mixer from Amazon, CHEFTRONIC SM986 Standing Mixer 5.5qt Red from walmart and SENCOR STM3623OR 4.2 qt. Stand Mixer 300W with Pouring Shield from Walmart? And do u have any videos of these mixers. I have never owned a stand mixer and can't afford a kitchenaid. So I am looking for something less expensive but is still a good one

We have the same stand mixer in the UK but slightly different, you cannot fix two dough hooks, They are ok but the whipping whisk and Paddle does not reach to the bottom of the mixing bowl, so they are not really popular
