Kudos to Aidan, he's a beast, as usual. But it's kinda hard to keep a straight face when someone at this level says "It's really hard, it took me quite a few days to do the moves" :D Especially in a world where top climbers try sport routes for YEARS and still can't do all the moves consistently.
@lawsong6663 Жыл бұрын
yeah but when its all the moves that take a while to do even once right after one another its a whole different ball game to a sport route that is more based on conserving energy for the hardest moves. if it takes years to even do each individual move on a sport route you're never gonna do it.

His board training is world class he could climb V18 if he stays on it
@michamoin1022 Жыл бұрын
The training boards in your videos always look amazing. Do you have any tips for setting and hold choice?
@WEDGECLIMBING Жыл бұрын
There's loads of ways to do it, I think we'll try and cover it properly in a video sometime. Some tips would be: - Pick holds that are specific to what you want to improve on - Try and use skin friendly and comfy holds (unless this is specifically what you're wanting to train for) - When putting the holds on the wall try and imagine moves you could do off them to help inspire you where to put them/at what angles

😅 Big brain beta 🧠 The really reason is the heel on those slippers bites the best on the crimp, but the laces give it extra staying power. He's since figured out a way that doesn't need the laces 💪
