While watching this, pay attention to how many times Aiden has to leave a camera somewhere, then go back and get it 😂 or he'll set up a camera before getting somewhere, then going back and making it appear like he's actually arriving for the first time ha! That's a lot of effort and dedication, mad props.

“The grass is greener on the other side” is so true. I live in Arizona and when I first picked up a camera everything I shot seemed new to me. Like I’m seeing things for the first time again. But after a while I got tired of the desert landscape coz everything just looked so “brown.” I later realized it’s not the place that’s the problem, but I should just extend the areas I explore more. For me, however, seeing other people’s photos on social media especially local places makes me appreciate where I live. They see something beautiful that I can’t and it’s just a nice reminder from time to time. Thank you for another great lesson! 😉

I don’t know how I landed on your channel, maybe via Peter McKinnon, but honestly your content from overall presentation, the quality of your shots, the solid editing, attentive sound design, in-depth tutorials, and overall scope of insight and knowledge you articulately share is amazing. Props dude! I live in San Francisco and discovered All Trails a while back and have found so many new vistas to shoot and become inspired by. In fact I found one unmarked trail that led to one of the most amazing vistas of the GG Bridge I’ve ever seen, and I grew up here. I’ll have to make a video of that spot and share it with you the next time I go back up. Amazing content, especially given you shot and edited this video all on your own. Takeaway - no matter where we live, new gems can be discovered when we push ourselves beyond our comfort zone.

I have been an upside down and backward person in most everything I do including photography and videography. It was the move to New Mexico from Florida that pushed me in the direction of photography. Like you say living in Florida most of my life and seeing all the wonderful photography opportunities that are there was old news but after arriving in New Mexico with all the mountains, bluffs and mesas I had to share it with friends and family back east. now after a year learning digital photography, hiking new places, learning my way around KZbin as well as the editing process I seem to have a great new hobby that gets me outside. Thanks for reminding me it's about the journey and pleasure of creating and not about the KZbin analytics. love your channel.

This is exactly what I needed t see right now. Thank you, Aidin. When I started my KZbin journey in 2017, I had to stop for many reasons, but now I am coming back, and I struggle. The lack of creative flow is crazy. Watching this vlog makes me realise that I never explore my backyard and there's so much that see, film and photograph around. I'll be going out and explore no matter the weather. Thanks again for the beautiful, inspiring vlog. I guess I must subscribe now 👍

7 hours to the Alps, 2 or 3 hours to the Blue Ridge Mountains, WOW. I am days & days away from any Canadian mountain, and many, MANY hours away from the wild forest and Muskoka Lakes region, but we have lots of low rolling hills, spotted with farms, patches of forest, small rivers and steams, town & villages and I still search my back yard for hiking trails and photo opportunities almost every weekend. You have great photos and videos and since it is IS "everyday" and "mundane" close to home stuff is why I watch. Love your style. Cheers from southern Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada.

I live in a very flat region of Michigan where the "mountains" are at least a 4 or 5 hour drive away, but I found a unusually hilly region with a major river 30mins north on Google Maps and it was filled with hundreds of beautiful trails that looked like Amon Hen in LOTR and like your forest location here! Giant arborvitae growing on steep hills with moss and ferns everywhere. You're absolutely right how beauty can be found in your "backyard". Also kinda surprised you mentioned AllTrails lol Fantastic video as always, my stylish brother...you got me inspired yet again

What you said about "grass always greener" is true. I drove through Nebraska and just LOVED the big flat landscape. But there were NO places to stop on the highway.
