You need to show how you can create your own tracks by set your own start finish point on the Aim Solo and then how to transfer it to the AiM GPS Manager software.

Will the base model produce a data file containing only speeds and lap times that can be uploaded/overlaid onto onboard footage? I understand that the base model will not store bike-related data, but wasn't sure about speed/ lap time data.

Hello. Thank you for your video. I have AIM Solo DL and I want to use this device on my bike Yamaha YZF R6 (2008) for track training. Do you know what cable I can use for stock ECU connection between my bike and Solo DL? Thank you for your help. P.S. When I tried to ask about it guys from AIM they recommend my buy AIM Solo 2 :)

I am not familiar with the older unit as we have been selling and using the current ones ourselves. Perhaps AiM recommended that because the older unit will not support the ECU connection? - Van

There is a formula that calculates the lean angle. Jimmy shot a video covering this that is on our channel somewhere. You need to do this after you pull the data down. - Van

We do not do really do much for drag racing. I would head over to Brocks Performance and ask this same question. They should be able to get you sorted out. - Van

Is it possible on DL to set shift lights to come on a certain rpm? Also DL doesnt support Ecu for kawasaki 636s. Is there a way to get around this. I heard aim is coming up with a ecu driver for kawasaki 636? How does that work with DL? Thanks in advance

I do not see an ECU cable for the Kawasaki 636 on the list form AIM, sorry. For that bike I would go with the SOLO 2 timer and save a few bucks myself. You could wire up the 636 and install all the sensors needed to get the data but that would be a lot of time and money spent to get that data IMO. - Van

Can you make your own track and time it and get data? For example if there is a road you ride can you get a time from point to point (start to finish)?

Hi Colton, you absolutely can! The timer allows you to designate your own start and finish line in its "Point to Point Race" mode. If you have any other questions please let us know :)
