Great tutorial! I've been painting with gouache, but because paints can be messy and take a while to set up and clean up, I've started to play around with alcohol markers, too. There are a lot more tutorials on drawing characters with markers compared to landscapes, so I'm glad I've found you! You fulfill a nice niche - looking forward to additional tutorials from you in the future!

Hi~thank you! I use Canson mix media paper. I listed all art supplies links in the description box. I personally like mix media paper. It is thicker than normal paper and has a little rough texture so it holds marker ink better. Thinner paper tend to bleed through.

This video is exciting to me for 2 reasons: first, I'm so happy that Ohuhu finally has refills! It was one of the (few) cons people listed about them. Thanks for showing the process. I spent so long trying to find a good video demonstration before I bought them. >_< Second, I'm taking this awesome art course called Drawabox to supplement my art learning and one of the things they emphasize is becoming confident in your own linework by drawing without pencil sketching and reference images. What a happy coincidence your next tutorial covered just that! Can't wait to try this. ❤
