Thank you for keeping it simple and under four minutes awesome. That was one of the best simplest explanations I’ve seen in sometime

Yay! Thank so much! I have bought my first pistol earlier this year with only iron sights. Now i am waiting for my second pistol with mos to get here and this makes perfect sense. 🎉

Good information. I’m trying to run irons only target focused as well out to 15 yards. With my dot, it is easy. I admit too, long time ago (1991) I was incorrectly trained and “bought the cow.”

For those who dont know, you can be target focused with iron sights. I am. Especially during USPSA.

Hard to start out target focusing with irons though. Not everything is for everyone, but this should help folks who have learned this way, as front sight focusing seems to be pretty natural for beginners.

I really don't understand why so many people teach front sight focusing, it simply sucks. It's terrible. Target focusing ALWAYS

I agree, especially with competition or fast shooting, but it's natural for people to point and be taught front sight focused iron shooting. It's kind of the start. This isn't a complete comprehensive on shooting but I think it'll do a lot for beginners.

Red dots are a "cheat code" when it comes to handgun shooting imho
