Having just pulled myself down off the ceiling I can’t resist the opportunity of addressing a concern I’ve had ever since falling in love with your work. Why, oh why are there no commercially available recordings of your more recent work being produced? Too often I hear genius being mangled by appalling KZbin videos produced by amateurs. Ah well, suppose I can just keep going back to the few decent recordings available. I wouldn’t be so frustrated however if I hadn’t attended your Sydney concert from which I came away wondering what you’d have accomplished if you pursued a career in opera. We get some idea from your stunning performances in the Nina Simone Memorial concert. On other hand you’re the only musician who ever managed to upstage Mick Jagger girl !
