It works the same in many parts of the Caribbean… Every country, every tribe of people have different rules. I don’t think it’s okay at all as it has happened to me. Misidentification of a snake can be fatal down here srsly. For example the harmless Keel Back snake has a ridge in the middle of a scale which is a distinctive look. Unfortunately the Clarence River Rough Scaled Snake looks almost identical & is a proven killer. Usually if you don't mess with the wildlife you shouldn't have any problems. I see a lot of Brits down here & they certainly enjoy a drink & good times. For all potential backpackers to Down Under enjoy the sunshine,beer,surf & meet lots of great new friends.👍🇦🇺🇬🇧🐨

The blood pressure surprised me. I've always had low blood pressure and it runs in my family, so when I heard the blood pressure which is only a couple points off my own and how many bags of blood they were using, I wasn't expecting it. I know men's blood pressure is usually higher, but again the low blood pressure and body temperature is normal for most of my family. It really kinda hit home. We have a couple funny stories of low blood pressure in my family, like if someone is in the hospital and sets off alarms because they fall asleep and so on, but I never really gave them any thought.
@rhiannonw73015 жыл бұрын
Low blood pressure can be normal for some people, in most cases, acute low BP is hydration based and generally treated by fluid transfusions. In this case, the paramedics likely pieced together that his bleeding was causing him to lose volumes of blood (low volume = low pressure...) and the patient would not normally have low BP, so it was dropping, not just his everyday pressure. In an emergency situation, a patient who has recently experienced a trauma and has low/dropping BP, will be assumed to be possibly internally bleeding. If you experience dizziness or fatigue, you should see your GP :)

Fire will put its sirens on when it wants to. You don’t have a say in it Officer. 😝
@Anonymous5516563 жыл бұрын
The officer is absolutely correct in his observation that there's no point in using sirens pre-dawn on empty roads. Professional firefighters generally don't run sirens at night when the roads are empty because A) there's no traffic to clear and B) people are trying to sleep. The officer technically can't charge them for doing it, but that doesn't change the fact that it's not objectively reasonable under the circumstances for them to be blaring sirens.
@lindanwfirefighter49733 жыл бұрын
@@Anonymous551656 Police have ZERO say in when a fire apparatus uses its L or S. The SOP or SOGs are what dictates it. The officer is out of line. In my dept if your lights are on you MUST also have your siren on. PERIOD! It doesn’t say only if the sun is up. That is ridiculous.
@Anonymous5516563 жыл бұрын
@@lindanwfirefighter4973 Out of line for what? Commenting to the camera that he's not sure why their sirens are on? Or when he asked them to turn it off while they were stationary so that they could talk to each other? How is either of those out of line? As for SOPs, I'm not in a position to comment on your department. However departments in my area trust that their drivers are appropriately trained and competent to use their discretion in choosing to not sound a siren if there's no need for it.

Also the medical Team person talked over the top of the doctors head, not once involving her, even though she was the one who responded to what he was saying...so rude!...and I'm only 5 mins into the video.
