The reason the 410 is still going is that, with a silencer fitted, the 510 carbine is like a musket. The ultimate sporter is about the same length as a 410 carbine but is much more expensive.

Had my S410 for for over 20 years no issues so far. The A model has no safety unlike later models. Coupled with an old Simmons Whitetail Classic 1.5 - 5 x 20 great for vermin control

Bought the Air Arms Tactical Hunter (pro target in black stock) in .177 back in 98 it was a true one hole 40 yard rifle

I live in the US and have a bunch of semi auto center fire rifles, ARs and pistols but I used to have an S400 back in the UK. And I want one again. The sad part is they're so expensive in comparison LOL

I wish they did a regulated version of the 410, i guess ill have to go for the new 510tr as i dont like the regular 510 stock design. I much prefeer the traditional feel of the 400 series bolt action over the side cocking on the 500 series, yeah it's more efficient but i value tradional look and feel of the 400.

I thought I might be wanting a regulated rifle after buying an s410, but it's ridiculously consistent for over 80 shots, which out in the field is far more than anyone would need.

@@Yimello yes, ive since got a s400, hft500 and 510tr. The s400 is unregged and more accurate than the 510tr. The hft is unregged and in a different league to the both of them.

@@Yimello I agree with you there pal regulated only gives more shot count when it comes to air arms because there so consistent even without one pure and simple love my S410 had them all my days I even don’t mind the safety ok it’s not ideal to have it on the trigger but I really don’t have an issue with it.The only thing I would have air arms do it have there rifles come with sling studs I fitted my own but still in this day and age should always come fitted.All the best big man 👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The 410f carbine is much smaller than the 510 carbine which is the size of the 410f classic. I prefer the 410f carbine over the 510 carbine for the above reason and the 510 shroud is pretty useless for an active shroud.

S510 carbine is heavier or atleast feals it S410 been my personal go to rifle for years Tried lots of others But Faithfull s410 is the one for all lol 👍👍👍😜🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🦕🦄😁🤞✌

Hello, My friend, Thank you for your review of this beautiful air rifle. My own humble opinion is, like all Air Arms models, absolutely fantastic. A beautiful walnut stock, a gorgeous bolt action and the blueing are just sublime. The S410, S510, TX, Pro Sport are all beautiful, beautiful examples to hold, use and own. With great respect, I'm not a great fan of the trigger safety catch, it wouldnt stop me owning one though. It's just like life, you've have to put up with odd things to enjoy the bigger picture. I prefer the S510 sidelever to the bolt action, though if the S510 didnt exist, I'd get the S410. They are beautiful, fantastic air rifles, absolute quality and manufacturing excellence to hold and use and great for ordinary everyday people like me to enjoy. Thank you.

I have the first of the s410 carbine with no safety on trigger and a newer on with a safety on trigger both shot the same . Had an s510 but didn't bond with it 😕 but will never part with any off my 410 range lol Cracking rewiev 👍👍👍😜🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🦕🦄😁🤞✌ My old s410 carbine still shoots like that at 40 metre lol

Unless I missed it you dont say what distance you fired. Also, for beginners, how is the cylinder filled? A pump?
