Still one of my favorite rifles. Imagine how great this would be with a 500cc removable bottle. Air Arms should really consider this. I also agree about the stock. Either use synthetic or walnut. This coating over wood is not the best system in the long term.

Rick I would love to see some comparison of the famous airgun of the Lewis and Clark expedition and a modern airgun of what would be in today's market place, say example of a break barrel

wow rick i spent all that time figuring out how to tune my .25cal avenger down to 33 fpe(5/16th turn out from zero on reg after degassing and 1 and 1/8th turn out from zero on hammer spring) and here you go pulling out a way more expensive air gun in a lower caliber to do what i already did. goodness great job rick. silver shooter haha.

Nice. I'm going to look at this s510. Two things, however: 1) the Hornet test should be repeated at the proper pressure. I'm not a fan, but I do like to be fair. 2) You said the Polymags wouldn't fit into the mag. Since you didn't specify, I'm tinking they were the regulars. I'd suggest trying the Short version.

Hey there Don. I’m going to be shooting this for the next few months. I will circle back around and do some more testing. The hornets are not the best regardless of pressure. On the polymags, I’ll reach out to JSB and see if they can sent me some. Cheers AGW
