The way I started was by finding inspiration on insta or Pinterest and then trying to replicate the style but on different letters. So instead of just copying I would learn different styles and form factors. Practice, practice, and practice so more and you’ll see great results!

There is a little plus on the drop shadow row, click it and it will create another one.

The main type I custom made. The only fonts I used in the "ex.2" chapter are "Allura" and "Zapfino" both from adobe fonts, but I'm not sure if that's what you're asking for.
