I'm from the Royal Air Force Air Cadets in England and ngl, I find it genuinely fascinating looking at what other countries do for their cadets. Idk why tho.

Yo the army and navy cadet uniforms a pretty much the same. Mostly air and army. Sea cadets don't have a dress shirt or tie. And the placement of badges are slightly different for all 3.

@@how2cadet500 I guess you're WO2 now since this tutorial so sorry for the rank slip up. I can't imagine being a cadet for over two plus years not being able to be present for mandatory training nights, extracurricular activities nor summer camps. You miss the camaraderie, friendships that you have developed and working with your cadets that is slowly slipping away as you age out !

@@etow8034 Yeah, the year COVID hit I had got the glider scholarship and they just cancelled it on us and then the same the following year. This is my last year to go on a summer camp so I applied for power. Really hope that it goes ahead.

@@how2cadet500 different fit? except for the shirt (for some) they are issued the same tunics and trousers right? are they just tailored to fit? for an example, the trousers, girls would need a pair with the same hips but with a bigger waist, than tailored to fit?

@@joeydepalmer4457 when ordering uniforms, you put your measurements. the uniforms aren't gendered, they're just tailored to your measurements.
@daisykinch5 Жыл бұрын
The female uniform is the same, you can get a skirt if you wanted to for religious or personal reasons, they take your measurements and if they have to they will order peices, you can get your pants hemmed, and there are technically girl/ boy pants and shirts, my shirt buttons on a diffrent side then my brothers and my pants have a white lining and his dont, but it all depends what year your uniform was manufactured. But other then that, the uniforms are the same for everyone.

I think it depends on how big the squadron is because mine doesn’t have everything yours does like parka and other stuff.

Why do you have a flight sergeant rank on each sleeve?
@how2cadet5004 жыл бұрын
Both sea and army cadets have their rank badge on one side of their tunic. Air cadets, on the other hand, have their rank badges on both sides. The cadets in the UK have a brassard that they put all their badges on. I hope this helps : )

The days change with each cadet squadron, but it usually looks like this: One mandatory night a week plus any optional activities you join. If you want to take a camp in the summer you can chose from a 2,3 or a 6 week course. Hope that helps!

Stop with this "Gen1" Gen2" crap. Air cadets has existed since 1941, and there has been many uniform changes over those years. I don't think there has been any in depth study into the history of the boots, but we could easily be on the 5th or 9th version of them for all we know.
