Excellent video from a master aviation filmer. Love the music and all the scenery. The ever so rare MD-11's were a very nice addition to the video along with the rather exotic Vietnam Airlines A332 and Air Namibia A340. I just got an excellent feeling from this video, nice atmosphere and pleasant music. Just wonderful!

As I can remember, I dont think I had ever flown the MD11. The are so rare now as a passenger airliner. and sooner than later KLM will retire them. I am glad you enjoyed the video my friend.

Such an informative video..dark cities from above and parked aircrafts b ecome alive thanx to your information..fascinating...LH disposed of their B747F for the MD11F which have all been converted to freighters..pity was aan advanced aircraft for its time(1991) my father flew Swissair,Zurich-Manila..he found it to be excellent airplane..

Great shooting in the dark, fantastic night shot of Cologne Airport!! I have a request to add to your video's - if possible have a quick chat (if they are keen) with some of the flight crews you encounter . Just a thought,but this will add to your superb coverage of airline flight. (ask them about airline life ,in there part of the world)

The Daily Ottawa-Frankfurt flight departs in the evening to arrive in the early morning. The return departs at late morning/early afternoon and arrives in Ottawa at around 4-5pm.

thanks for that.. i assume more geography could have been seen if it were in daytime but i am pleased with how it turned out. I agree with you and I keep trying to do so as soon as i meet an FA who seems amenable, and although i ahve had some nice convorsations in the past i have yet tp get permission with any to be filmed on camera.

Those metall caterinboxes can be smelly after a whilew..they and the carts are specially washed..nice video and tasty catering..but why B767 and not their new B777?? the 767 is an old aircraft in my opinion..saw it back in 1982 in LAX airport...
