I'm on the same page as you as I also filmed HNL Boeing 787-9 Air Canada departure as well from seat 7A. The service on my flight was great and I too love departures from HNL not only through videos like yours, but also experiencing the departure off Reef Runway 8R as well. It was my first time in Hawaii and was by far the best trip ever. I will definitely go back. Also my night takeoff filming wasn't that great either because my window was a bit foggy due to a draft at the airport plus I too isn't an expert videographer haha. That is awesome Rio! Crazy time to fly back to Toronto isn't it? Used to leave in the afternoon and get into Toronto at 6 or 7AM but hey, it is a 787-9 and I love flying on it anytime. Every year I am in Honolulu I take some time to go down the end of Lagoon road near the airport and watch them take off from 8R. Off to check your video. Thanks for your comment.

@@johndemerse9172 I know right haha the departure time is crazy, but personally I prefer this departure than the previous afternoon departure pre pandemic mainly because you're almost ready to sleep and you'll be able to get some rest which I did for 5hrs out of the 8hrs of the flight. The 787-9 Dreamliner is my 2nd favorite aircraft after the Triple 7 300ER. Honolulu is an amazing city and really busy as well with friendly people.👍🏿

thanks for sharing John! I was on this same flight number on March 7th. Unfortunately my seat got moved to the opposite side (7K) so I didn't get the great city view.

the flight back to Toronto was on time, but the flight leaving Toronto to Honolulu was delayed about 1.5 hours.
