Refund for sure with future credit (if they ever want to fly with them again). Also, after the last few years we just went through, cleaning & sanitizing the plane would be a high priority!

Air Canada needed to recognize that they had a BIOHAZARD and were legally required to not fly at all until the BIOHAZARD had been fully cleaned up. No one should have been seated in front, behind or to either side. Not just a refund would suffice, they need to pay damages, and face a massive fine from the FAA or whatever regulatory body they are under.

Even though I don't belong to a western country (like Canada, US, Europe, Australia etc), I have observed in my travels that customer service of western airlines (especially Lufthansa) is relatively poor compared to Asian and even African counterparts (emirates, vistara, Kenya airways, Thai airways etc)..Customer service is an area that airlines from western nations need to acknowledge and work upon..

The event is actual a public service announcement for anyone who has never flown with Air Canada before. For Air Canada, this is all in a days work. The flight attendant and the pilot will get raises by AC.

Once I saw vomit on my tray table and armrest. I told the flight attendant about it and he just handed me some napkins, not even a glove. This was on an AA flight.

So they were in Las Vegas meaning they would have had less facilities and access to seats to replace it with. Although the two passengers hit the lottery for unlucky circumstances and needed to be left behind (assuming a full plane), Air Canada should have made alternative arrangements or be prepared to hire contracted services for the airports they have charters for and have an extensive cleaning contract. Definitely they had to get booted and it is unfortunate but poorly handled too
