They make a air filter base that drops way down closer to the motor for hood clearance. Why isn't the vacuum advance hooked up on your distributor? I believe that i had written to you before offering advice on mopars but you never acknowledged or even thanked me for doing so. I love mopar so I'm gonna give you another chance. BTW, that is a +.040" 413 that ran 12's in my A12 bee.

Sorry didn't see your message. The set up i got now works. The vacuum advance isn't hooked up simply because it was an afterthought. I don't really drive the cuda on the highway.

I love them too. Too bad they cost 20k plus for an ebody. I rather have that money as a down payment for a home.

If your gonna do it. I recommend going a size up. That stuff was extremely tight.

U ended up using the 2 inch filter for hood clearance?

Yes, with a 1/4 air filter spacer didnt clear the stuff underneath.

Since he has a ventilated hood and open top filter. I guess it will work. However other people pointed out they have bases for the air cleaner that drop down for hood clearance. The issue then is clearance of throttle, fuel line, etc.
