Just an update....this machine has finally stopped functioning last month. The compressor stopped working. AC gas is still there. I would say even after years, this is value for money product

Now I am use to it....it is little noicy compared to a simple table fan...but bearable.. We have to choose in between being in super hot place or listen to little bit sounds to be in cold 😉 .....

Just call Kogan or local repar shop. Mostly one small wiring is missing if only swing is not working, but if total fan is not working then its Copper Wire gone...that wil be expensive to replace.

The cloth came free with the AC. But I guess you can buy it from Kogan to ask for replacement etc... I am not using mine now...I upgraded to using a Foam to cover window instead bought from Bunnings. It was very easy to install. Also...if you are living near Brisbane...you can collect the cloth from my place...I am not using it anyway !!!!

It is called "Corflute" (or it's the company name I am not sure) there are several version available of different thickness and both Black as well as white. Mine taking long to cool down room even after one hour not that much cool. Feels like air is less cooler than split ac.. How long does it take for u to cool room. My room is smaller than you.

The trick is to completely seal the exit pipe so that no heat wave comes back from anyside.. As long as the dehumidifier (water collection on back of pipe) is working. ... It take me max 15 to 20 mins to cool down the room If its not happening...better ask for a refund or new piece. ..

@@ThinkAloud well everything is sealed n water is coming out but still took 3 hours. the temperature was already 27 outside. Can u feel cooling eventhough u r not infront of the blower?

@@pratikpino8072 better get a different piece then... If it is still under warranty. ... We have to take a blancket if it goes more than 1 hour..it actally goes till 17 degree in night time... Did you take the same model or different one?? I did lot of research before buying this one...
