So how do Air Crete Blocks stack up to Casting Your Beautiful Air Crete House?
Blocks are very old technology and still very useful to stack various shapes including Domes. However, id does require a fair amount of energy & time to build your building. Casting a monolithic Air Crete House is so very fast, much easier. However, it does require building forms. These forms can be expensive and costly depending on the shape(s) you have chosen.

When you do a monolithic pour can you still add a conventional insulated window in afterwards or does that need to be framed in before the pour.

You can cut out the hole put in a frame then tack lath to the wood and acrylic cement bond it to the structure. Slip your window and you have it.

Aircrete can be easily cut with a saw.

If you pour the monolithic way, is there a problem with cold jounts? You obviously cant finish an entire home in one day, and schedules, life, weather knock a few more days off your ability to full time go at a house. Is there anything necessary you'd have to do to continue pouring new mix ontop of your aircrete that has already set (aka a cold joint.) And rebar would still be a good idea right? Im not seeing too many videos of reinforcement being used. If not using blocks, I'd think rebar would be a must.

Rebar does little for soft AirCrete. AirCrete is more than just mixing cement and air. It is a building system that works together because AirCrete is not cement, block or stone. It is it's own thing. Layers are bonded together. If you pour every day it process is great m. If you let a previous layer dry then bonding agent is used.

How deep/tall can you pour aircrete in a form before the weight collapses the air bubbles?

depends on foaming agent. 1 foot is generally as far as you can go with drexel foaming agent. There's others that let you go 19 inches.

Would you put these classes on a DVD for those of us who can't get to the US for the lessons ? I understand that nothing beats hands-on participation in construction of houses. However, for those who can't attend these sessions, the next best thing could be a moderately priced detailed instructional video.

what about earth bag domes vs air crete domes? cost, strength, etc.

Earth bag is a lot of excavation and work but cheap. It does not have insulation properties and so will not remain cumfortable in very hot or cold climates. If made thick enough you will have the average temperature over the day inside and it can lag the outdoor temperature by 20 days. I prefer insulation and cumfort in our heat. I suggest you build a "storage" she'd and sleep in it during seasonal extremes to know for yourself before committing to a large project.

I understand why you’re using a bucket for pouring the aircrete but if a person could afford to buy a small grout pump it would be so much easier, especially when you get up on a scaffolding. I’m a mason of trade and we build a lot of houses with the autoclaved version in Scandinavia (now living in Atlantic Canada) and it’s beautiful to work with. I just finished up my first foam generator today and I can’t wait for spring, what a great way to build your own home.

Try it and see. I don't by what mechanism a grout pump moves the grout. Generally, the more you compress it the more volume you loose. You definitely don't want to loose insulation that far north.

Tiny-Giant LifeStyle. I can understand what you’re saying about loosing insulation value by pumping. However, I was thinking about a type of grout pump that’ll feed the hose with an auger, and that way (I think) not compressing the Air Crete too much. Make no mistake, I’m learning something new every day.

Can't you put a aircrete brick dome roof on a poured aircrete cylinder. The R-value in an aircrete brick dome roof is hard to improve on.
