Your nozzle is pointed downward instead of to the side, sweetie. The nozzle has to be pointed in the direction you want your hair to curl. Also, heat/speed is to be on low and then after it twists for about 3 seconds and you do the cool blast, you spritz it with hairspray and then pull it apart into "messy" curls. It doesn't make Shirley Temple curls, sure, but a girl with long hair who likes quick, messy curls is gonna love it when the use it well.

I found out what was the problem! The assembly instructions are WRONG. The nozzle/spicket or w/e is not suppose to be turned straight down or up, it is suppose to be angled towards the left or right (diagonal/45 degrees) so that the air spins in a vortex. Choose a direction you want your hair to curl. I did this and immediately my hair started spinning quickly, neatly, and with force. I have very long and thick hair, and had many failed attempts like yours. But after twisting the nozzle a little, it worked! I even noticed the instructions say to choose a direction to spin, but I thought it meant the bucket, which this didn't work. I love this thing now :).

Dude, Im a guy, and I can tell you that I'm pretty sure your hair needs to be wet first for this to work.. I mean its a hair "dryer" so your hair needs to be wet in order for it to serve its purpose. Totally not hating just a thought.

I received this as a present then watched your video and was scared to use it.lol however after reading the instructions the spout is supposed to be angled to the left or right. I did this and it worked perfectly. It gave more of a beach curl than a regular curl. It works but not a styling tool I use regularly. Love your videos keep it up.

exactly I have this thing and it's awesome. the spicket is supposed to be to the side not pointing out of the bucket nor straight down just to the left or to the right so it can swirl the air in the bucket. it also helps of it is sticking partially through the hole in the bottom.
