I actually ship out the 19th lol, but man waivers were so dreading ! The suspense if it’s going to be approved or not. But hey we’re almost there :) good luck! 🍀

I needed self harm & allergy waivers. Self harm one was blown out of proportion because I never SH but I still went through everything one would go through for the waiver. I waited a month for both of them to be approved.

I’m currently in the process of getting enlisted but I have to lose 5 pounds before I can get started. Working on that but I like to eat too much lol it I need a moral waiver and a medial waiver. Hoping it won’t take long to get them approved after I lose the weight.

​@@alexiscaesar5071 I have to lose some weight as well before I leave. I find it very hard hoenstly. But walking and jump roping is your friend! Hopefully you don't wait that long to get them approved don't get discouraged, I know I did whenever I was waiting for mine. Good luck x!

Can you share your job picking process? Could u demand your job?

I would but it was pretty straight forward with me picking security forces and wanting to leave my hometown as soon as I could. But typically when you go to your recruiters office the next day you take the asvab they will have a sheet with all the jobs you’re qualified for and you’d just rank them :)! You could demand your job! But it’s really tricky depending on how your recruiter is. You always have the right to refuse a job.
