I was in the Civil Air Patrol and we were one time going out on a flight in a C-123, my Father who was in the Air force (actually worked in a hanger right behind the museum next to the flight-line) wouldn't let me get on it, he had worked on them years ago and said they weren't safe for man or beast, I was heartbroken, the Caribou right after the 123 is what he worked on while in Viet Nam.
