You feel that way because that is exaclty what they do, the Marines Tier one special operations unit is unknown to the public and works in recruiting and without detection is able to infiltrate the other recruiting offices and lock them while communicating to the RS to prepare an ambush on an unsuspecting civilian.

@@etwanican_7439 There’s toxic leadership in every branch so don’t get caught up in that. Members of all branches of the service complain about their own branch frequently. The living conditions if your single and living in the barracks do suck because the Marines have the least funding. If your married you obviously don’t have to worry about that because you’ll be living off base in your own place. I had many ups and downs but have no regrets on joining. I’m definitely blessed and proud to be a Marine. Semper🤘🏽
@_MarlboroMan
@_MarlboroMan Жыл бұрын
@@morgansims3631 For me, joining the military was is the best decision I made versus going to college. There’s no age limit to college and you can do it at any point in your life, but there are age restrictions for the military. I’m using my G.I. bill now to go to school while working full-time. If I never join the military, I wouldn’t have had my VA loan which allowed me and my wife to buy our first house at 23 years old with no down payment to start raising our family. My biggest advice is to pick the right job/MOS. If I would’ve chose a job that I enjoyed more, I would probably still be in the Marine Corps now. I love aviation and always wanted to fly but joined the Marine Corps as an aircraft mechanic instead of doing something like Aircrew which would have actually allowed me to fly and live my dream. But I was young and stupid at 17 years old and let the swim qual requirements for aircrew steer me away. Stick with your guns and do the job that you actually want to do and don’t settle. I still had an amazing career though and accomplished so many things that helped set me up.

"Come in, sit down, relax, what's on your mind?" He wasn't antisocial, he was very fit and very confident. He was a Sgt, then there was a StaffSGT and a MasterSgt. Funny, the Air Force doors aren’t usually locked. You have to ring a doorbell and they ask what you’re doing and you just say I was interested in joining.

Same thing happened to me, Air Force office was locked, took the Asvab with the Marines and got a 93 with near perfect scores in Mechanical. Best job they could offer me was Radar tech or something like that. I wanted UAV operator, wouldn't give it to me because of availability, so I went Navy and they gave me Machinist Mate submarines. I make more than twice as a civilian now, than my friends who joined the marines and got out. The ones who stayed almost make as much as I do as an E-8. If you commit to the military, you WILL be paid decent, if you're going to do one contract and out, make sure you get broken for disability or get marketable skills.

The air force is the best recruiter for the marine corps. Try and call their office the schedule an appointment and they don't pick up. Bump into the marine corps recruiter and end up signing. A year and a half later I have a voice-mail from the airforce office asking if I'd like to schedule a meeting.

Same here. I remember going to the recruiter bc I was interested in the navy. I didn’t even make it to the door, and this Marine stops me and tells me “they are at chow, wanna wait in here for them to come back?” Looking back this was a recruiting technique 😂. Needless to say I am at the end of my enlistment in the Marines now haha. Was worth it I guess

I'm waiting for the job to book rn with AF, I tried to contact like 4 different AF location, 2 of them left me voicemail says something like we will call you back( never heard them back), 3rd recruiter, called me back texted me pre-qualification form to fill, she saw I'm over 26lbs limit(I was 20%BF), she texted we won't take anyone overweight, that was all she texted me, 4th one called, no one answered, I literally walk-in, he opened the door let me in, asked if I need something, I said, I want to enlist, filled pre-qualification again, he told me to come back and talk again, walked me through meps, I dropped literally 26 lbs in 2 months during these because he gave me a chance which others didn't.Idk if you want it you have to go get it not like cross your fingers
