You can cut the air fryer time to 20 minutes by first putting the potato in the microwave for 5-7 minutes (depending on size).

I use combined cooking 7 minutes x potatoes in the microwave and 5 minutes in the air fryer delish. Same cooking flavor faster cooking. Add the ingredients that you like.👍

Air fry setting or bake or roast?

Exactly my question! I’m fairly new to using an air fryer. I always use it in air fry mode, but it does have a bake mode. It seems like they are using their fryer as a smaller and marginally faster oven.

Hi you can do. It really depends on how crispy you like the skin. If you air fry just keep going until they are cooked all the way through or microwave until cooked through and then pop in the air fryer for a few mins to brown. Hope that helps.

So, not much quicker than normal oven and if microwave the potatoes for a short time first then even quicker!
