1 lb (450 g) boneless skinless chicken thighs (or breasts), cut to 1-inch (2-cm) pieces
1/2 cup cornstarch
Oil spray
Marinade
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, finely grated
1 tablespoon finely grated ginger
1 teaspoon brown sugar (or regular sugar)
1/2 teaspoon salt
Spice Mix
2 teaspoons white pepper powder

1/8 teaspoon five-spice powder
Garnish (Optional)
