I have worn both shoes to both games personally I prefer the AJ36 They’re more bouncy and are more comfy & have more breathing room imo although the kd15 are ELITE performance wise as a forward i personally prefer the AJ36 but they’re both amazing I’m just on the lean side so they fit more snug for me.

Don’t forget the AJ36 has an extra zoom unit in the forefoot. Def more bounce than the KD.

Same, to feel these color ways are better! Update: I own both and I like the Jordan 36 low way more than the KD’s. The comfort is better on my foot, including the tongue isn’t as stiff and feels more elastic.

@@Isaac2. Just seeing this and just got the Kd's finally finding them really stiff. The heel slippage is crazy and have found my arches getting sore with my first couple wears. My J's get here in the morning hoping they'll be a lot better.

I have been playing in the KD 15s for 3 months now and I did not experience any heel slippage. Maybe for the first practice, but after breaking it in it locks down the heel pretty good, it even has like a little deepening for the heel. I got the AJ 36 Low today and did experience slight heel slippage when trying them on. I hope this will go away also.

It’s really hard to say, both are good shoes. I like the AJ36 because they are very light and sprinting and jumping is easy in them. On the other hand, the lateral containment is not the best, I had a few moments in defense where my foot kind of slipped to the side in the shoe. The KD15 are a very solid shoe in my opinion, comfortable, good containment, good grip, but they are a bit lower than the AJ36. I might go with the KD15 if I were you, since you are new and need a great basic shoe. Otherwise, I would honestly just go with the cheaper one

@@alexanderarberg I have more of wide, but short feet. So I did go true to size, but they were both very tight at the beginning. After breaking in they fit very well, the KD broke in more than the AJ though. But I like that the AJ are still very tight. If you don’t like to play in tight but rather in more comfortable shoes, I would say go half a size up. I personally don’t like to do that because then the shoes are too long for me

Come on now Sammy. The cushion is not the same. The 36 are significantly more bouncy and pronounced under foot. The KD 15’s cushion are actually underwhelming compared to the the 36 and the KD 14 because you don’t feel as much softness and compression with every step

I literally spent an hour in store trying KD15 Jordan low, lebron 19, PG 6, …. I immediately did not like the Jordan’s or lebrons….. I’m older at 40yrs of age… 6’4 215lbs bad knees and hips … the KD14 and KD15 are the most impact resistant shoes I’ve ever had … I also just returned a pair of Nike GT jumps because they weren’t as impact resistant as KD’s. PG 6 was surprisingly comfortable (lil more bite) and I almost got that but stuck with KD yet again.

For me the Kd 15s had no heel slippage but the Jordan 36 had so much heel slippage that my heel was going out of my shoes even though my toes were at the end of the aj36s.

It’s all about preference I am a power forward at a high level and I only prefer the kd14 side because they have a softer cushion while the kd15s have a stiffer cushion with better court feel
