Weartesters is the best sneaker channel. No click bait tittle’s ,no cover photos with the stupid look on the face like most KZbinrs do. Just straight to the point reviews. Ive always liked this shoe since pictures first surfaced. I hope stock is high enough for most of us to get a pair retail. I’ll never support the resale market.

This is why I love your channel! You rep for the OG collectors. Back in the day we called em "the white jordans" (start of the Bulls' nba szn) & then the "black jordans" (when the Bulls made the play offs). We didn't have all these cute nick names like they do now! I'm not a "get off my lawn" type, I just love goin down memory lane with someone who was there when all these OG pairs came out!

Agreed! I've been saying this for years. I like to troll the kids. For example, if a shoe comes out in a black and white colorway, I call them "The Blites" or Fire Reds should be called "Freds". Nobody seems to get it. SMH. I just say I'm just playing by the stupid nickname rules.

I don’t buy Js like I used to anymore but this one is a must cop for me. I grew up in the 80s-90s and this shoe just reminded me so much of my childhood memories. Used to have 4 pairs back in the good old days when it was only $110-$125 for a pair of Js. Now it’s just overpriced. But if you like it then get it. YOLO!

I love the shape of the reimagined but still prefer the look of the nubuck OG. I still have to get used to that shine on the leather. Definitely easier maintenance on the reimagined though. Awesome video. Thanks for educating us. Much appreciated.

These and the Metallic Burgundy 85 J1s are my ABSOLUTE MUST cops for the year. With all due respect to the OG version, this all leather build is just too clean 🤤🔥I'm also a sucker for real leather, real materials. Never had the originals. So this is a reimagining gimmick done right. And the all suede/nubuck royal 1s. Those are cleaner than people want to admit.

Definitely prefer the durabuck version but I love the colorway so much that I love these too. To me, the durabuck makes the gray/white/red features pop

Black Cement 4s are in my top 5 Jordan’s. Prefer the 2019 OG version but still got these for the collection; they did a great job with these 🔥

Im from NYC, grew up in the 90s and we went by colorways/nicknames. Chicagos for White/Red/Black colorway, UNCs, Royals, Breds, etc. The ones that stood out as a bit different were the Red/White/Black 8s, which we called “The Bugs Bunnys”. Then the whole thing with AF1 lows being called “Uptowns”. Mids too, but it was mostly associated to lows. Some people also called them the NYCs, cause some pairs in the 90s and 2000s had the NYC embroidery on them.

As a og sneaker head in my mid fifties I had the original bred 4 back in the late 80's and they looked great but killed my feet so I passed on all the 4's over the years. Wasn't much of a nubuck fan so these new bred 4's are looking great so maybe I'll give em a try. Great video and review guys!👍

I watched a bunch of videos on this sneaker and yours is the best (as I knew it would be) and most informative. Most guys just focus on the leather and the hype. The midsoles are reminiscent of the AJ3 fire reds. They're waaay softer than the usual 4s that we've got in the past release and has more comfort. Congrats to those who were able to cop and to those who didn't, there's always another retro release for you 😉

My 2019 Breds has started yellowing on the soles. Highly regret passing on the SBs, so I cannot wait for these, including the Military Blues. I don't mind the leather on these, OG 4s are usually a must have for me.

This shoe was the most difficult product I've ever tried to buy. Took Ls on shock drop, 3 accounts submitted @10am on the 17th, didn't get them, immediately went to physical stores, and 9 physical stores and 7 hours later I got my pair secured. But damn. Hard to get at retail was an understatement.

I don't know how they've been there in the States but on release day here in the UK it was purgetory to get a pair, made the worse by me missing the shock drop days earlier. I managed to get a pair before BSTN website crashed at around 8:10 Saturday morning whilst losing out on SNKRS, locked out of Offspring, waiting in the queue forever in Footlocker to eventually get to it and small sizes were left and so on. When I got the orde conformation from BSTN I was happy, but they haven't got to England yet so I'm on edge until they are in my hand. Just the military blue to get when they are released, then I have to stop.

I prefer the matte finish of the OGs, but other than that, I love this fresh take. The leather will just hold up so much better and be way easier to clean, and the updated shape is the closest to the OGs we've seen in a very long time. So stoked for my pair to come in!

Being born in 80’s I relate to all the stuff Chris brings up about the OG’s and nicknames. These were always called the Black Cement here in Michigan. And thank you and mentioning how weird the puffy tongue is on these. I completely get it in the Pine Green SB’s but wish they wouldn’t went with the 2019 tongue. I prefer the 2019 pair but definitely love these as well. Definitely a dope idea, but I have really liked all the reimagined pairs. I thought the Royals were dope and really liked the White Cements and the Patent pair as well. Wouldn’t mind if they brought back some OG’s but just made the shape and materials better. Like the black cement 3.

The nubuck was the only thing I saw as a "con" with the black cement 4s. One of my fave pairs of all time. I just didn't like that they weren't as durable as the black cement 3s which were leather and built like tanks. So you could beat on them. The nubuck doesn't age as well as normal leather does. But now they made them leather so you can wear them year round without worrying about them aging badly. I have 2 pairs of the OG black cement 4s. Will probably buy one of these to be a winter beater pair.

I think these are going to be really expensive Jordan 4's in general with classic colorways run in the $400 and up range now when you start talking about Jordan 4's with a classic colorway and leather those typically run for $700 or more I'm going to try to cop as soon as possible

You just know Nike is gonna limit the number of pairs on this, and the haters who said they're not gonna get these because of the change in materials will still go for them on release day. Chris, this is the only Jordan I want right now. I have been patiently waiting for the release of Jordan 4 Reimagined. I love the leather look and in my opinion it looks way…… better than the original. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the Jordan 4 SB. If I can get my hands on these sneakers, I will be satisfied for the rest of the year. Side note, keep up the great work. Your reviews have been quite informative especially on my sneaker selection.

Funny if they did another one of my black and red favorites like the Infared 6s I all leather I wouldn’t like em but I love these . I just love the cut and they don’t crease on the toe box . Maybe it’s how I walk but I get a little bend in the netting under the laces and barely notice it . I don’t know if I se these as OGs like I did the White Cement 3 or the Chicago Lost and Founds but I love ‘em regardless!
