Definitely one of the more unique Jordan designs from the 90s. It's cool to know that it's the shoe that capped off MJ's first 3-peat. I'd be lying if I said that I really liked the 8s, but I still respect the design overall. Great history video as always!

The Jordan 8s are One of my top favorite Jordan’s of all Time, they don’t get enough love like how they suppose to. I still have my South Beach’s that I got on sale at Hibbett’s a couple of years back.. I remember when I was a teen in high school my mother bought me a Pair of UNC 8s at the Flea market I knew they were fakes, but I was rocking them like retail pairs.. boy I miss em.. I just gotta cop the playoffs, Aqua’s & Bugs Bunnies. If Jordan Brand Release a UNC 8s colorway I would have to pick them up plus that shoe will sell like hotcakes. it’s truly a much needed colorway!!

Man I've seen a lot of people hating on these shoes , I remember my grandparents taking me to foot locker in 1993 the Playoff ones had just being released I was deciding between those and the Shaq Attack from Reebok .... I think the reason why this model doesn't get that much love is that they probably don't look good enough for the young generation of sneaker heads, or they look too crazy for them. My first pair of J's were the Tinker 8's , just after they launched. Back then , I didn't truly know who Jordan was ( which I know might sound wierd to Americans but , y'know , post comunism countries didn't really develop in such a manner as to allow or even give importance to such things , anyway thats not the point )but god damn if they didn't scream quality. The design just , Idk , instantlycaptured me , they looked so distinct , so special. It was literally love on first sight. I still have em , they're a size smaller then my true size but since i wore them so much ( and also forced the insole out ) I can still fit them. Fav Jordans by far.

I'd put of buying the J8's ever since they released in 93 (I normally only collect J's 2 through to 7). But last year I just thought "what the hell" lol. And so I bought the aqua as I'd actually always liked the colourway. Gotta say, it was a great decision. I couldn't believe how beautiful they was in hand. And the comfort is really good (although not as comfortable as the J7 with that full foot air bladder). I also bought the j8 low chrome from the mid 2000's. Absolutely stunning shoe. I really hope that low gets another retro. But yeah, back to the j8 aqua. It's now probably one of my favourite silhouettes. I try to wear it atleast once a month. 🙏🏻👊

Infact they feel amazing around the foot. It's like sliding your feet into a silky padded glove. I highly recommend them. Bugs bunny’s hold a spot for me because I got the retro when I was a freshman. It was essentially the first shoe I got when my foot grew so it felt good and the first day I wore them to school i got chased by a rottweiler otw home, and I remember thinking it’s because of the shoes (outside of overheating and maybe weight, they’re great performers s far as traction, padding, lockdown, and durability.) i was able to outrun it long enough to get past a wooded area to a fence that surrounded the front of my neighborhood (its for show IXIXIXI), and jump off that to somebody’s wooden fence into their backyard and go out the frontyard, losing that beast. I just knew the shoe unlocked my potential as an athlete.

I really enjoyed the Jordan 8 , but i removed, modified the strap and keep only one strap in a straight. My classmates are also confused that they thought i bought a copycat but told them the truth, they're so impressed by the added colour too. Rich guy from my area really wanted to buy and keep asking me to sold for 3 weeks I sold to him after 1 month for roughly $450 . He kept with the grail ones from his collections. He said he wore it only 3 times It's one of my riskiest modification yet turned out very dope & unique. It's 2014 when i bought this kicks, the retro✌️
