I absolutely love the 9. Reminds me when I was a kid. Had the black n white pair. My uncle and Godbrother had the black charcoal. I loved the unc pair. And I had a chance to get the olive. How ever. It was 93/94. Back then we were all sleeping on that color. It ess like brown perception wise lol. So I passed on em. Definitely will cop any of these pairs. And they definitely need to make an olive winterized pair. Perfect color for it. The other winter 9s have been prey good I think

On my birthday too! 9 for my birthmonth, favorite number, born in the late 90's (97), and 9 characters on my last name! Pretty interesting shoe even though MJ didn't really had any significant moments in them! Keep these series up, I'm now starting to take after my mom's fashion sense for apparel now with shoes of all things, and as kid I would've groaned for shopping multiple apparel I wouldn't have the attention for! Would love to see more Tinker-related history videos (maybe your thoughts on the AJ 6 Rings, looks like the 11 and 13 had a baby, really digged the 13's outsole paw design!) a beginning graphic designer myself!

Like most of the Jordans of the era they become even more amazing once you compare them to what was out on the market at that time. I think was take for granted how year after year the designs created road maps that are still followed till today. These shoes clearly influenced another great shoe which was the Fila GH .

Definitely a good Jordan model, but the 9 just doesn't look as good as the other models that came before it and after it. It also didn't help that MJ didn't even ball in it when it first released. The details on the outsole were really cool! I had no idea what any of it meant until you explained it! Great history video as always!

I got the Air Jordan 9 Anthracite. I use them as Beaters. They perfect for that. They almost made like a boot in a way. I would suggest them if You need a shoe that will still be a “Air Jordan” but is more All-Purpose made for any type of circumstance. Great Sneaker.
