Air King finished saved from the scrap heap

Guys, you have no idea how close I was to pulling a few parts off of this and sending the rest to the scrap heap---this radio was ROUGH. But I persevered, and in the end I wound up with a radio that works well. One thing I will say about this radio; aside from having the filters and tubes changed in the past, it was all original and 100% complete--that probably swayed my decision to save it.
I never did fix the power switch, just don't care enough with this radio to bother

Id try a straight razor blade and lightly scrape to see if the paint comes off.easily. Also a cutting compound and a polish would do wonders to that cabinet.
